JESSE
"Are you sure you going to be okay?" Mom asked for the umpteenth time.
"I told you, mom, you don't have to worry. I will be perfectly fine, all you have to do is to go meet your husband and enjoy your holiday " I assured her
"I'm going to miss you, my baby," she cooed.
I almost gagged at her behaviour, she loves fawning over me like I am still a baby.
"I know mom, you can stop gushing now," I rolled my eyes at her behaviour.
"Are you sure everything is packed? Wait let me check," she moved to my bed and tried to unzip the bag just to check if everything is packed and ready to go.
"Mom! Stop it, I’m not a baby anymore," I shrieked, I hate it when she does that. She makes it seem like I can do anything on my own.
"You are my baby," she smiled, trying to get to the bag once more.
"I am not your baby anymore mother, I am an adult," I wanted to yell but I restrain myself.
