CHAPTER 97

I sit on the cold tile. the corners of my eyes heat up because of the tears regardless because of the water flowing down my face.

"I'm sorry ... I'm sorry." I repeated and hugged my knees.

I can't forget Leon's tears before his parent's body exploded. no child will sacrifice a parent’s life for the person he or she loves, but Leon, he broke that belief of mine.

I stopped crying as the shower door slowly opened. I slowly lifted my face to see Leon looking at me seriously.

I was devastated to see his bloody white shirt. He looks like a mess. His hair is messy and some polo buttons are open.

I slowly stood up and hugged my chest with my arms.

"L-Leon." My voice trembled, not because of the coldness of the water but because of his presence as cold as ice.

"Why are you crying?" he asked me and slowly took off the polo and just threw it away.

I shook and bowed. I have no right. it's just for me to be hurt and cry.
