(Amaya)
I followed the skeleton arms up the mountain, with the others following behind.
“What do you see?” Sin asked.
“There was a symbol on the stone back there. When I placed my hand on it, a bunch of skeleton arms popped up from the ground, pointing in this direction.” I explained.
Sin frowned. “I can’t see anything, just an ordinary mountain trail.”
“I can see it fine, not sure why, though.” I replied honestly.
Abigail, Magma and I followed until we reached a river that cut through the mountain. Its pink water was steaming.
“How do we get across?” I asked, debating if I should touch the water. “The trial picks up again on the other side.”
Sin waded into the water; it wasn’t very deep. “The necklace I gave you should protect you, but I rather not risk it.” He frowned.
“It doesn’t look too bad.” I pointed out, debating if I should test out the necklace.
“I’ll carry you across.” He told me.
