My dad got up to see who it was through Jack’s surveillance footage. We all waited for him to tell us whether it was a dangerous intruder or not. 


I read from his mind that it was a female, Ashton did too. 


“You’re sure it’s her?” my dad asked. 


“Yeah, she’s the only one that said she would come today. So, I guess she managed to escape from Kyle’s search for her and me”, he said. 


My dad hit the button to let Kelsey in. We waited for a few seconds and then Kelsey came in through the door. She looked tired, like she was running for a long time. I presumed that she wanted to lose the people that were tracking her so she didn’t get to using her car.
