Chapter 4. I'm here to protect Allie

 Outside the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, the sun was blazing high in the sky. The sunlight scattered on the ground, melting away the chill of winter.

 "Little bastard, go and cry to your dirty mother!"

 The tallest child in the group that pushed Allie to the ground stood in front of her arrogantly, laughing.

 "My mother is not dirty! My mother is the best in the world!"

 Allie, who had been silent the whole time, suddenly got up from the ground and said angrily.

 Sophia was Alice's entire world. Even though she was still ignorant of the world at the age of three, she already knew how to protect her mother.

 "If your mother wasn't dirty, how would she have a bastard like you?"

 The leading child pouted and shouted at Alice.

 "My ... My mother was with my father, so they had Allie!"

 Said Daniel coldly as he bent in front of Alice.

 Allie looked at Daniel curiously, feeling an inexplicable sense of closeness.

 "Allie, do they bully you often?"

 Daniel asked softly as he ruffled Allie's hair.

 "Uncle, do you know Allie?"

 Allie took a step back timidly and asked in fear.

 Daniel felt heartache. How much suffering had she gone through all these years to become such a shy person?

 This age was supposed to be the most innocent and lively time for a child.

 "Of course, I know Allie. Your mother asked me to protect you."

 A smile appeared on Daniel's face as he spoke.

 Allie's eyes widened as she looked at Daniel in surprise.

 "Did mommy get an uncle to protect Allie?"

 Daniel nodded and stood up.

 "I'll teach these bad guys a lesson first, then I'll take you to find your mother. "

 His eyes were filled with coldness again as he looked at the group of children who were bullying Allie.

 "Why did you bully Allie? What's wrong?" Daniel asked in a deep voice.

 His daughter was the noblest Princess in the world hence he could not tolerate any grievances!

 "It's none of your business!"

 Although the child who took the lead to bully Allie was scared, he still summoned up his courage and shouted.

 Daniel sneered and slapped him across the face.

 "This slap is to discipline you on behalf of your parents."

Even though he had held back most of his strength, the 13 or 14-year-old child still fell to the ground from the slap.

"Do you know who I am? Do you dare to hit me? I'll kill you!"

 The child immediately flew into a rage and got up from the ground.

 Daniel slapped him again on the other side of his face this time, causing him to fall to the ground.

 "I don't care who you are. If you dare to bully Allie again, I'll make you regret being born into this world."

 Daniel stared at him with a sinister look, and a strong murderous aura enveloped him.

The child's body trembled, and a stinky liquid spread out from under his body.

 Daniel scrunched his nose and quickly pulled Allie back a step.

 "Shameless! Peeing in your pants at your age!"

 Allie hid behind Daniel and made a face at the child.

 The child's mouth shriveled, and he burst into tears.

 Daniel scoffed at this and looked at the other children who were bullying Allie.

 The children were so scared that their snot came out. They made a strange sound and ran away.

 "Get lost!"

 Daniel chided the wailing child on the ground.

 "Just you wait!"

 The child got up from the ground and fled after leaving behind a sentence that had no deterrent effect.

 "Uncle, you're so powerful! You drove them all away!"

 Allie said excitedly as she looked at Daniel with adoration.

 She was originally an introvert and was afraid of strangers, but she was still a child after all. Seeing the child who often bullied her being taught a lesson, she couldn't help but reveal her child's nature.

 "Then, does Allie like Uncle?"

 Daniel asked as he squatted down in front of Allie with a smile.

 Allie fell into deep thought, her expression somewhat conflicted.

 "What's Allie thinking?"

 Daniel asked curiously.

 "Allie also wants a father who can protect Allie like Uncle, but mother said that one day, Allie's father will come back to protect us, so it's better to leave Allie's love for her father."

 At the mention of her father, Allie's face looked a little lonely.

 "Then, if Allie's father was like Uncle, would Allie like him?"

 Looking at Allie's cute appearance, Daniel reached out his finger and touched Allie's nose as he asked with a smile.

 Hearing this, Ali's eyes lit up and she nodded hard.

 Daniel heaved a long sigh of relief. He was most worried that Allie would reject him as her father when he returned.

 "Uncle, what did you say?"

 Allie asked doubtfully as she tilted her head to look at Daniel.

"Nothing. Uncle is taking Allie to find her mother."

 Daniel shook his head and picked up Allie.

 "Ah!" Allie couldn't help but exclaim. After hesitating for a moment, she gently wrapped her two small hands around Daniel's neck.
