Ray Kaine, a skilled fighter turned office worker, finds himself on a bus, and after a terrible accident ends up in front of a god, who informs Ray that he himself shall now become a god.

The Infinite Domain

Ray's thoughts break apart, like a bad phone connection. Each word that enters his mind shatters, every thought lost as his mind cannot finish forming them through the immense pain it is experiencing.

"ARGHH!!!" Ray screams in pain, unable to stop himself any longer, slumping fully to the ground.

'RAY!!!' Kaine's voice comes out as barely a murmur within Ray's mind, but he is able to just barely hear Kaine's voice, 'We're vanishing, you will have to do something now otherwise you will die!'

Ray thoughtlessly nods, his body still shaking with pain as he rises from the ground. Ray stares down at the ground and unconsciously uses his Perception Affinity to locate all of Zanik's worshippers. Despite his willpower driving him to his feet, Ray still cannot muster the strength to move.
