It had been two days since Dorothy had any contact with either Credence, Marvin, Jonathan, or Benjamin. She had been staying in Jonathan's hospital.

Jonathan had considered that innocent people might get hurt should people come looking for Dorothy. This is why he deliberately emptied a rarely used building and assigned Marvin and several of his men there.

In order to further convince Melanie of the bait, through his friendship with Jonathan, Credence decided to hire a female nurse who had features similar to Dorothy's. He needed her to cooperate with him in taking lots of intimate photos and videos.
