"That was scary," Elina said.
"Even though I had some idea, I never knew that human nature could be so dark and they are all the same age as we are," Emma shook her head. Her face was filled with disappointment. Her perception of humanity had changed and it cause her to mature greatly.
"Let's go on and talk to the selected candidates,"
"Hey, wait for now. It's still the middle of the night, let's sleep for now and do all that in the morning," Elina interjected and stopped Emma.
"Oh, yeah," Emma replied in realization and walked back to the room assigned to both of them. As she walked, she did so a bit absent-mindedly, her mind still wandering back to the dreams and thoughts she saw of everyone. Even the people they selected weren't perfected. Their minds were also dark but their nature wasn't inclined to kill. That's why they compromised and selected them.
"I guess everyone is like that," She thought and entered her room.
