Erobus - [ Chapter - 51 ]

As Ho-Seok saw the notification update, he sighed as he knew his actions finally caught up to him but he didn't expect it would change this drastically. As in his first life, that update came more than a year from the time it was now.

But he did expect a change, so he didn't waste any more time as he left his sister, with a note a well as a Lich to watch over her. While he was running through the place, he quickly headed down to the third floor and as he did, he headed over the Scorpio's shop.

When he arrived at the location, Ho-Seok called out saying, "Scorpio, your favorite customer is here." he said with a chuckle, and as he said this Scorpio appeared with a curious smile and asked, "You're here after the recent update, this'll be intresting, what do you need?".

Ho-Seok then asked him, "Do you have any masks that have a good ability and isn't uncomfortable?", when he asked this, Scorpio was in a bit of a shock but he then regained composure and with an aggressive smile, he replied, "Of course! My dearest customer!".

Scorpio snapped his fingers as a mask fell onto the ground along with a robe, both the mask and robe had black and purple colors on it and as Ho-Seok appraised it, he then saw it improved a lot of his dark related attacks.

Which was entirely perfect as he lifted it off the ground and as he did this, Scorpio then said, "Well my dear customer, you need to pay up before you touch the merchandise, no?", he said this continuing to hold a smile on his face.

After he said this, Ho-Seok brought out, all the needed blood and some extra, he replied saying, "Here's a tip my good man! You recommended me something really nice.", he said as he put on the robe and mask, he also added some soul-bounding onto both of the gear.

「Are you going to replace me Ho-Seok?」

Olivia, said this with a saddened tone, when Ho-Seok heard it, he immediately panicked and said, "No! Olivia! I'm just doing this to cover my identity, it'll be troublesome if they get to know it, you'll be always at the front Olivia, don't worry.".

『Nice save Ho-Seok!』

Calin said as he was laughing, while all three of them were talking to each other, Scorpio coughed to get their attention as he said, "Don't you have something to do, especially something about your family outside the Tower because of the new update.".

Then as Ho-Seok heard this, laughed a bit as he got up and said, "Thanks for caring but, do you really think I'll leave my family unguarded even after knowing the update beforehand?", he said as he smiled as he adjusted the mask on his face.

While all of this is happening, on the outside of the Tower, the system appeared to every single human being on earth and as all of them awakened, multiple portals opened releasing countess monsters into the streets and cities of the world.

Although Ho-Seok never left the house without some preparation for the update like he told Scorpio, he left some of his undead troops, hidden in his house as well as some with the ability of stealth to follow and protect his parents.

Since it would definitely be terrible that they were outside of their house, the moment that the update happened, so he prepared for nearly every scenario, he also laid out some extra troops to clear the area near his house to help some people out.

But of course, you can't save everyone, there will be people who'll struggle and even die during this update but even with Ho-Seok's strength now. He isn't even close to being the top 100 in his country, which some actually died during this update protecting people.

So Ho-Seok stopped his chatter and quickly went out of the tower to help. Not because he was going to help them out of his goodwill, but of course for his own growth, he can't look out for others when he won't even be able to protect himself during the breakout.

Finally as Ho-Seok left the Tower, he was met with an outbreak of different type of monsters and he smiled as he brought out Calin, who took the form of chains and he covered him in molten electricity, killing all the monsters he could.

The biggest reason he was participating in the outbreak was that, there was actually a system reward depending on how many monsters a player kills and there are also roaming bosses that give out exclusive rewards and even the experience drop was multiplied.

Though, his biggest aim from the system was a skill that was gotten by one of the ranker killers. No one knows exactly what they were doing out in the dungeon, but they took down multiple roaming bosses until they found one of the special ones.

Which actually had a neat skill, that even rankers would drool over, but luckily the idiot bragged about it in his first life when he appeared in multiple news reports, so Ho-Seok started heading to the location where the killer said the boss was.

As he got to the location, it was a pretty populated area but then suddenly multiple cars started flying everyone as if being thrown by something, one of the cars was thrown at Ho-Seok but he easily melted down the car and saw the boss he had to fight.

It was actually an mixed blooded Ogre that had the blood of a minotaur, so alongside it's outrageous healing factor, it's size didn't even cause it's speed to slowdown, so it had speed, strength and regenerative abilities which gave the killer a lot of trouble fighting.

While Ho-Seok was watching the Ogre, bash around the street, destroying multiple buildings, there were actually still some newly awakened players trying to fight the Ogre and well, it threw a whole semi truck at them and so all they did was panic.

Ho-Seok of course stepped in, melting down the whole truck and ran straight through the melted down metal, and splashed it on the Ogre making it scream in pain as even with it's regeneration ability, pain wasn't nullified which came into his advantage.

Right as Ho-Seok was thinking what to do next since he was gathering the weaknesses of an Ogre and minotaur in his head, one of the people he saved actually went up behind him and said, "Th-Thanks, but who are you?", they asked with a bit of fear.

Even though Ho-Seok saved them, it was common sense not to trust awakeners easily as there are some corrupt killers, especially with how Ho-Seok looked at the moment with the signature, black and purple evil look.

So he chuckled a bit as he replied, "You can call me Erobus.", he said as multiple pieces of debris were flying at them from the boss but then suddenly walls of bones appeared and blocked them all, Ho-Seok then turn to face the boss and said, "Sorry, one second.".
