Hero of Death - [ Chapter - 56 ]

As Ho-Seok was checking the ability and function's description, someone then came up to him and said, "A-Are you a hunter mister?", when Ho-Seok checked away from the system he saw that it was child asking him as he was curious and he also looked a bit nervous.

So Ho-Seok chuckled as he replied, "Yes, I'm Erobus, and don't worry, I'm one of the good ones.", he said as he crouched down to get on the kid's height, as he did this, the kid's eyes shined in excitement but then suddenly a voice behind him could be heard, "Haeyon!".

When the kid heard the voice, he then turned around as he shouted, "Mom!", he said in excitement as he hugged her, the kid's mother then went up to Ho-Seok as she bowed and said, "Thank you sir Hunter." as she did this, Ho-Seok chuckled a bit and was a bit flustered.

But then suddenly a huge quake could be heard nearby, and as Ho-Seok checked what it was, it was another boss and this time, it was one of the bosses that Bloody Killer took care of before. So as Ho-Seok sighed he decided to clean up all the monsters he could in the wave this time.

Not only to get stronger, he also needed to make up for a fact that a player that was as strong as a ranker disappeared from history and so now there might be a lot more casualties and unexpected outcomes if he just leaves the monsters that were suppose to die alive.

Finally after a couple of hours of non stop fighting, Ho-Seok was able to clear a huge chunk of monsters near the area of the tower and near the part of the city where his house was alongside the small areas he found some bosses that had some good rewards in them.

Once he finished everything, he quickly went back to his house to check up on his parents since he actually didn't go to his house yet, only around it and as he went near there, he found piles of courses and even some bosses laying on the ground dead without any life.

A few skeletal knights could be seen and even a bunch of the monsters and bosses turned into undead.a Suddenly out came the lich that Ho-Seok place to watch over his parents and it came out of the front door of his house and then it suddenly knelt down facing Ho-Seok.

While it knelt, Ho-Seok could see that it's power and mana improved a lot, although not as drastic as Heca, it was definitely better than your average Lich so he was pretty happy with the outcome and decided to let it be the official watcher of his parents since he could definitely trust it now.

In just a few seconds of the Lich kneeling down, Ho-Seok's parents appeared in the front door as his mother than asked, "Is that skeleton yours Ho-Seok?", she said nervously and so Ho-Seok just chuckled a bit as he replied saying, "Yeah, sorry for not telling you.".

He said this as he put his hand behind his head scratching it nervously. After saying that all of them went inside as the Lich stood up and recalled all of the extra undead as it then hid back into the shadows of the house leaving a few summons to take care of the rogue monsters.

Then as Ho-Seok entered the living room, he saw that the TV was on, and it was showing a broadcast about the monster outbreak and so Ho-Seok then asked his parents saying, "So were you guys able to stay perfectly safe?", he said as he looked closely at them checking for any injuries.

His dad chuckled as he did this and said, "Of course we are, but what about your sister?", when his dad asked that, Ho-Seok smiled as he said confidently, "Don't worry I did the same for her, actually the one watching her might be a lot stronger, it is the tower after all.".

After he said that his parents were relieved and we're surprised that their son was actually really powerful, cause even though they don't really know the exact dangers of his job, they do know how strong the monsters are from how much they hear from the news and stuff.

Suddenly as this was happening, Ho-Seok then hears the news talking about a mysterious masked figure that had the color black and purple, so he quickly turned his head as he saw a picture and even a video of him clearing and fighting with some monsters and a few bosses.

As he saw this, he was a bit embarrassed as they gave him a nickname called, "The Hero of Death" cause of his scary look and as well as the name that he gave to the child before, Erobus. While he was looking at the TV, his mother saw him and noticed some similarities.

She then asked as she chuckled a bit, "Is that you?", Ho-Seok was a bit surprised as she ask that but he laughed it off saying nervously, "Yeah.", he thought he was about to get an earful from her but she just turned around and started continuing what she was doing.

But then suddenly she said, "It's good that you're helping other people but don't forget to take care of yourself okay? I know I can't stop you but I can at least warn you.", she said as she smiled and sniffled a bit in fear that her child might get hurt or worse cause of his job.

Ho-Seok then went up to her as he hugged her tightly and said as he comforted her, "Don't worry, I will.", he said hiding his tears as he can't help but think this is what happened in the other worlds he left and abandoned thinking that his previous deaths didn't mean anything.

When he heard this, he then stopped hugging her and said, "If you guys need me, I'll be in my room for a bit, I have some stuff to do, so just call me and I'll answer.", he said as he headed up and into his room. Once he sat on his bed he then asked seriously and said, "So what is it?".
