“You stole my place,” he finally emitted after standing there for more than a couple of minutes. The moment his scent filled my nostrils, I felt his presence. The urge to fight with him, to show him how he hurt me was tough to fight with but I didn’t want to start it.
If someone had messed with my mood and heart, shouldn’t it be their responsibility to clear their mess? I asked myself and felt satisfied with my reasons so I pouted and decided to ignore his presence.
He cleared his throat before opening his mouth, “It used to be my place to hide from my pain and reality. I never attended any family gathering where my in-laws were invited.”

Who was I then?
Nobody to him.
