Thalia's pov
First, I found out I am a demigod and was forced to fight with an army of monsters. Then I was turned into a tree when I finally became a human again, my best friend joined the Titans. Now I am riding Santa Claus's sleigh with a moon goddess.
"What was Luke talking about keeping your words?" Annabeth asked Artemis finally breaking the silence.
"That's none of your concern. But I can assure you it's nothing endanger the Olympus." Artemis answered.
"By the way where did that cat come from?" Percy asked while we all looked at Artemis again.
"Why are you looking at me? I didn't summon it." She said.
"Anyway, I can't believe Luke tricked you, Annabeth," Percy said. "We should have captured him somehow."
"No...I think he changed. He was different from before." Annabeth said. I felt it too. I wasn't there when he joined those Titans but he was different from Luke I knew. I know he was up to something but when he said he was sorry I felt like he was truly sorry and not as a trick. A slight pain came from my stomach. Damn, I think he broke some of my bones. I will defiantly pay him back next time I see him.
Then I remembered he put something in my pocket. Because of the heat of the situation, I forgot it. I looked around Percy and Annabeth still arguing while Artemis and Zoe talking. I slowly take out the piece of paper Luke gave and take a look at it. There was a single sentence on it.'Meet me here.' Then an address and a date to meet. That the everything, in the paper. What was Luke thinking? he is the Leader of enemies and I am supposed to trust him and meet him. It could be a trap but it's not his style. And he owes me an explanation.
I fold the paper and put it inside my pocket carefully.
"We will be arriving soon," Artemis said as the Empire state building appeared in our sight. There was a giant floating above the building.
"Olympus," I said in amazement. I wonder what will happen if normal people see this. I thought looking down at the ground. Oh, boy that was a big mistake. The ground was a thousand meters below us. I felt like falling and my legs started to shake. How can the daughter of the sky god fear heights? I tried to calm down.
As we went closer I could see thousands of torches lighting the mountain.
"It's starting," I muttered.
"What's starting ?" Percy asked.
"The winter solstice," I said. "The council of gods."
We land near the Empire state building.
"I will go first," Artemis said disappearing into a silver light.
"She could have brought us directly to Olympus." Percy grumbled.
"Yes, but now we have to walk. Come on, seaweed brain." Annabeth said walking towards the building.
"You are awfully quiet, princess," I said to Zoe."What happened? are you not happy we saved your mistress?"
"I am happy, but prophecy leaves me unease." She answered.
"Don't worry," I said. But someone dying at the parent's hand part makes me uneasy too and we are going to meet our parents.
After waiting for the elevator to reach the 600th floor We walked towards the throne room of gods. We walked past all kinds of miracles from glittering flowers to winged fairies. A giant silver gate stood in front of our path. Then it opened itself. There were twelve gods in their giant forms sitting on their thrones.
"Welcome, heroes," Artemis said.
My father kept staring at me. I didn't know the guy well but he look okay I guess.
Then he started to talk about the rise of the Titans and how they will take action against them. Suddenly a flash came and three old ladies appeared middle of the throne room.
"Fates, how we can owe the pleasure?" Zeus said.
"Prophecy has broken." All three fates talked at the same time.
"Thread of fate became useless."
"Destiny is not sure."
"Future is unpredictable."
"Great prophecy is no more." Then they disappeared.
"What was that?" Hermes Asked.
"Apollo, check everything all right with your Oracle." Zeus said. Apollo closed his eyes and stay like that few minutes. Then he said, "Everything is okay with Oracle but the prophecy she gave didn't come true."
"That's what Fates talking about. The broken prophecy." Athena said.
"What does that mean?" Artemis asked.
"The fates said it prophecy has broken. Future is unpredictable and the great prophecy is no more." Athena answered.
"That means the great prophecy is no longer valid."
"Then what are we going to do?" Hermes asked.
"We will protect Olympus. We can't let Titans take power." Zeus said.
"Now for the demigods, we don't know what happened to the great prophecy but, all of you done a great service to Olympus. We must celebrate."
With that serious mood of the gods disappeared.
"Wait a moment I have an offer for you two." Artemis said to me and Annabeth.
"Would you like to join the hunters?"
During the quest, I thought about it. But after meeting with Luke my decision changed. First I have to talk with him.
And with this no great prophecy situation I don't have to worry.
"I have to refuse, Lady Artemis," I said respectfully. Annabeth refused too.
"Such a shame. You could have made a fine huntress. My offer is always open for you two." She said. Then we enjoyed the party at Olympus.
