Bully Her

The car rushed away after hitting Amelia, but due to Amelia's timely reaction, she wasn't badly harmed. Falling on the ground, a sharp pain travelled through her knee and elbow, feeling she scraped them.

Instead of caring about herself, her eyes went towards Evelyn.

Evelyn stood there, frozen, while horror crossed through their eyes. Instead of focusing on the current scene, what went through her head was her mom's death.

She was unable to extricate herself out of it.

Seeing how her daughter was trembling made Amelia feel alarmed. The injury wasn't a big deal for Amelia.

In order to check up on Evelyn, she attempted to stand up, finding it difficult to do so due to spraining her ankle.

Once she managed to stabilize herself, she limped over to her daughter. Few curious people shot their eyes in her direction, but seeing how the situation wasn't serious, they moved away their attention.

"Evelyn," Amelia called, "dear, look, mom is fine."
