Uncomfortable

Standing outside of the shopping mall, Evelyn called for the driver to arrive. It would take about a couple of minutes.

Lucy spotted an ice-cream shop and left to get ice cream for both of them. Although Evelyn didn't think she could eat anymore, there was always extra space for ice-cream in her stomach.

She took out her ringing phone, noticing the constant notifications due to the messages she had received from Edgar. Because of how annoying she found it to be, she had her phone on mute.

He acted as though she was doing some high risk job when she only went shopping. He must be really bored, seeing how much he bothered her.

Usually it was her asking him about his condition, and this time, the situation between both of them reversed. This brought a sense of novelty for her.

Evelyn was about to respond to Edgar when her shoulder was bumped against. This sudden movement caused the phone to slip out of her hand.
