Feelings

Amanda knew that Edgar was really upset with her words. Although that disappointed the girl, she didn't want to deteriorate the relationship between Edgar and her.

After all, she worked really hard to get this close to him. She learned how to act according to his mood and didn't want all the efforts she put in him to go to vain.

"Fine, whatever."

After that, she shook her head and sat on the chair in front of him. She turned back and folded her hands over the table. She leaned closer to him, staring at him with dazzling, round eyes.

This gave the boy goosebumps, and he moved back in order to increase the distance between both of them. On the other hand, Evelyn's grip on her pen tightened.

Knowing how to maintain her temper, she didn't let anything show on her face. She wished she could shout at Amanda to leave.

But that didn't suit how she did things.
