Chapter 25

Time moved faster than I thought and in no time we had graduated from college with flying colors. The graduation ceremony was a bliss which can not be forgotten. On the night of graduation party, Aikens took me to a renowned restaurant to have dinner. It was more like a dinner date. While enjoying the meal, he suddenly stopped and knelt in front of me which made me stop eating.

"What are you doing Aikens, everyone is watching us", I said as I looked around to see different pairs of eyes on us.

He brought out a ring from behind him, holding my hand, he slid it on my finger.

"Thank you for accepting me into your life", he said. I was shocked at what he just did since I didn't see that coming. I took a closer look at my finger, it was the same ring he refused to give to me when he asked me to marry him.

Everyone at the premise began clapping and cheering us up, it was really an amazing night.

We went to Aikens house after the dinner to talk about the necessary arrangements for our wedding since we were done with college.

"I have made all arrangements for our wedding", he said when we got home. I didn't expect him to be fast in such a thing without letting me know but I was supper happy about everything.

"When will we be going?", I inquired from him.

"I'm ready whenever you are", it sounded interesting but I had Jazzy in mind.

"I think we will have to wait for Jazzy's next vacation ", the door bill rang just at the end of my sentence. I went to get it just to find Jazzy standing with a wide smile plastered on her face. You mention of the devil and he appears indeed. I ran to take her into my arms because I really missed her.

"How did you arrive just on time?", I questioned when we got inside.

"I think that question should be for your lover boy", she said giving Aikens a wink.

"I've really missed you Jazzy"

"And I missed you more dear sister in law", she replied making us bust out laughing.

"It seems I don't even exist when both of you meet, I'm out of here", Aikens said dragging his feet to his room.

We both chit chatted for a long time before falling asleep in the couch. It took Aikens to wake us up so we would get into our rooms to continue our sleep. With sleepy eyes, Jazzy went straight into her room and instead of doing same, I mistakenly ended up in Aikens room sleeping on his bed. After a while,I felt I handing passing through my hair which made me jump from the bed. Only heavens knew where the sleep had gone. I thought a stranger was in my room so I began shouting Aikens name for help. But all I heard after my shout was laughter.

"My darling, you are in my room and on my bed", I heard him say. I quickly found the switch to turn on the light. He was standing by the bed with crossed arms looking at me teasingly.

"Urhm….I….I…", I stammered not knowing what to say.

"No need to force words out of your mouth if there's nothing to say", he teased again.

"What I wanted to say is, I …I lost my way to my room. I need to go, good night ", making my way towards the door , he stopped me with his words.

"Are you sure you don't miss me and want to stay with me tonight?", I didn't know if it was the right thing to stay with him.

"Are you thinking of giving me a yes as an answer?", he was just tempting at the moment.

"Hell no, I don't even want to spend a second in this room", my lips were fast to lie.

"Okay then, let me help you with the door", he walked to open the door and stood by it shooting me a seductive stare. I couldn't avoid it any more. I jumped into the bed and covered myself with blanket.

He closed the door and walked towards me slowly wetting his heart shaped lips. I don't know whether to stay on the bed or jump from it. He climbed onto the bed locking my eyes with his that I couldn't look away, it was as if I had been hypnotized.
