Taming Amara.

"Where is this?" 

The words I heard emit from my lips when my feet touched the ground. It was a beautiful place, like the beach where the water was very blue. There were coconut trees and plenty of sand, but we were the only ones there. 

"Exactly what it looks like." He answered me.

I watched his countenance change as he moved to sit on the sand with his eyes staring at the water. I don't know why but I felt like I needed to sit beside him and so I did. 

"Why here?" I asked him.

"It's safe." He said, 

"If it is then why haven't you brought us here all the while? You are hiding something, what is it?" I asked him. 

He remained quiet.

"Please," I said, 

"I created this place for her- Amara. I felt she would love it considering how hard she had had life." He said, 

"Wow. Didn't she?" I asked.

"She did. We were here most of the time." He said, 

"Just out here?" I inquired.
