"Your being here messes with everything," I told him sternly.

"On the contrary, it could fix everything." He said, 

"My grandson told me much about you, you are better than he said." He told me.

"Now is not the time for compliments. They will come for you." I assured him.

"Let them come." He said, unbothered.

Just then, Chris showed up. 

"Fix this," I said to him and left their presence.

Returning to my apartment I was furious. 

"What was he thinking?" I paced about.

"You have got to stop this." He said from behind me.

"Me? Stop this?" I couldn't believe he was trying to turn this on me.

"You made me look stupid before my grandfather." He said, 

"I made you look stupid?"

"I brought him back for us." He said, getting in front of me.
