Revelations

I saw it, he had a halo inside of his chest shining so brightly.

"What are you doing here?" He asked me.

I slept with a heavy head the previous night. For some reason, I felt like I was missing out on something and once it dawned, I got to Ethan's. 

"Can we talk?" I asked him.

"I don't want your fiance showing up with his pack." He told me.

"Please okay? It's freezing out here." I told him.

He sighed, looked away and then opened the door wider for me to pass through. 

He walked on while I shut the door behind me. It was so warm inside.

"Nice house," I said, following behind him.

"It's just a house." He said, heading for the bar area.

"Care for anything?" He asked.

"Yeah," I told him.

"And what exactly?" 

"Your ears," I responded. 

He paused his steps and turned towards me.
