Beginning Of Another Drama With Ruby

"Does your ass hurt?"

Oliver rolled his eyes at Daniel, annoyed by that question.

"No, I feel amazing."

Oliver sarcasticly replied but his gaze softened as he watched Daniel looking at him worriedly, serious this time.

"Tsk! You know this is normal. It's just that my legs tremble a little. And my ass is fine. So don't worry. I took some pain killers."

Oliver held Daniel's hand, gently explaining.

Of course he was lying.

The pain killers didn't do much.

The headache Oliver got since the morning was still there.

But he didn't want to tell this to Daniel since he would ask him to stay home. Oliver wanted to come to campus today. So he ignored every other thing and acted tough, like always.

"I really want you to rest today. But you insisted on coming..."

"Daniel, it's really alrght. So stop blaming yourself. I enjoyed the night too, okay?"

"...Mmm..."

After finally Oliver managed to convince Daniel he was fine, Daniel dropped him off at the campus after a long gentle kiss full of apology.

"Love you."

"Love you too."

......

'Ha...This damn hedache.'

Oliver slowly walked to his cabin, now kind of regretting not staying home today. But he can't back out now.

'Ah! Student Ruby?'

Oliver met Ruby who was smiling brightly as she welcomed him, her cheerful voice distracting him.

"Professor, we were waiting for you."

In the morning, Ruby really wanted to see him. So she came with some girls to ask about a lesson before the class started. Oliver also let them inside and asked what they wanted to know.

"This part. It's short. So can you explain it?"

Ruby asked politely, knowing Oliver won't refuse. Oliver also had no reason to refuse. So he said okay and brought another book which had the same part explaining in another way.

He gave them the book and said to observe it if they could understand. Then he managed his things and cleaned the dust on his table. He thought the girls were reading the book but didn't know they were watching him.

Then Oliver's phone rang. Oliver was surprised to see a call come in the morning. because it was something unusual to happen. After he saw that it was from Ava, he answered it immediately, wondering why.

"Hello Ava, why are you calling suddenly?"

When the name Ava fell into Ruby's ears, she listened and watched Oliver intentionally.

Other girls understood that Ruby knew something about the person who called and couldn't help but suspect it must be her love rival.

"Dad! Where is your wedding ring?"

Ava's excited voice came from the other side.

"Wedding ring?"

Oliver's eyes turned to his hand to check the ring. But it was not there.

And, surprisingly, Oliver was clueless about it. He couldn't even remeber actually when he took it off, making him nervous.

Meanwhile, the girls in his room were like rocks. Also nervous.

Ruby's pale face made them feel bad for her. At first, she was calm even after hearing about a wedding ring. But when Oliver checked his fingers for the ring, she felt that the ring he talked about must be his. Because someone won't put other peoples' wedding rings in their fingers, right?

'No way, Is he married already? No way! Impossible!'

Ruby's fist clenched. She silently listened to the conversation helplessly.

"I don't have the ring with me. Did you see it?"

Oliver asked while waiting for a positive answer.

"Yes, Miya found your ring in the bathroom while cleaning."

She said excitedly while caressing the ring in her hand.

"Ahh. Thank god. Keep it safe until I come."

Oliver felt so relieved and let out a long sigh.

"Okay, dad! Work hard! bye, I love you, dad"

She said and waited without hanging up to hear his response.

"Thanks dear, I love you too."

Oliver said casually and hung up after hearing Ava's laughs.

He got used to repeating the sentence ' I love you too' for this father and daughter duo. But he never gets tired of telling it to them. He also loved them sincerely.

After hanging up, he felt a little embarrassed about talking about these things in front of his students. But he talked to them as if nothing happened.

"Are you done? Did you read it?"

He asked while collecting the book.

"Yes professor, it's so easy. We would have missed some things. But after reading that we got it. So you don't have to explain again. We will leave. Thank you, sir."

A girl said and stood up. They didn't want to learn in the first place. So the other girls also stood up to leave with her.

But suddenly, Ruby, the only one who was sitting, raised her head and looked at Oliver with her eyes all red.

"Professor, Are you married?"

Everyone looked at her in shock. Not only them but also Oliver. The students had no right to ask about their private matters. But that didn't mean they couldn't tell though.

"Yes."

The answer shocked the girls. They didn't expect him to answer that and the answer even would be 'yes'.

"When did that happen?"

Ruby kept asking. Oliver felt something was wrong and looked at her with a confused expression.

"Why are you asking?"

Oliver didn't want to answer her. So he decided to refuse.

"When?"

She ignored his question and asked again.

Other girls tried to persuade her but were pushed away by her.

"You should have told me that you are already married. Why did you hide it?"

Her voice raised suddenly and Oliver felt she was losing her mind.

"Ruby, why are you asking that? I don't think I should tell everything."

Oliver felt a little angry because she was talking unreasonably.

"I want to have a talk with you professor. It's private, so I want to talk alone."

She looked at the girls and then looked at Oliver. He had no choice but to ask them to leave.

They didn't want to leave her with them. Because they were afraid that Ruby would do something unsuitable. But in the end, they left.

"What is it? Tell me quickly and go to the classroom."

Oliver was in a rush because he had to get ready for the lectures. He couldn't get ready yesterday because he was busy in bed.

"I like you, Oliver."

Oliver was shocked that he took a step back. Not only he didn't expect her to say something like that but to call him by his name.

"You-"

He was speechless. He didn't know how to respond. If he acts rashly, she would get hurt.

"I love you so much. I can't forget you."

She suddenly hugged him and didn't let go.

"Ruby, don't be like this. Let go of me first. Let's talk."

Oliver became helpless when she hugged him even tighter. He tried to push her away. But he felt he couldn't use a lot of force.

He sneered coldly realising they were the side effects of last night. And this goaddamn headache!

Oliver lost his temper with all this bothering him.

"What the hell are you doing? Let go of me!"

Oliver yelled at her. She was surprised but didn't let go. His scent made her stick to him and smell more.

Then suddenly someone came in.

"What are you doing?"

The voice sounded like the owner was shocked. Both Oliver and Ruby looked at the way and Ruby let go of Oliver instantly.

"Sis! What were you doing with him? What's going on?"

The person yelled at them.

"Help me, brother!"

Ruby ran to him and she was crying with a smirk on her face!
