35th Break: Killer

At Huichen.

Lin Ze's brow raised after he heard what Qiu Yi said. He looked at him from behind the folding screen. "You want me to catch that flower seller in exchange for Meng Xing's address?" he asked, repeating the terms of their exchange.

Lin Ze smiled. "I would, if it was two minutes ago." He said as his smile disappeared. "I can't believe Huichen would break their rule just for a practitioner – " he frowned.

Qiu Yi cut him off. "What we do is none of Officer Lin's concern." His voice is filled with indifference. "All that Officer Lin needed to do is consider if he would accept this exchange or not." He said as he looked at Lin Ze.

Lin Ze's brows knitted, feeling displeased. "Then, I will just patiently wait until Meng Xing would be willing to tell me his address!" he said and turned to leave.

He can't believe that Huichen would break their rules just to catch a flower seller. Is that flower seller so important for Huichen to break their morals?! He is even thinking of more valuable information to exchange with Huichen for Meng Xing's address. But, it turned out it would just take that flower seller for them to give him Meng Xing's address.

Qiu Yi glared at Lin Ze's back. How he wanted to threaten Lin Ze that with Meng Xing's attitude, Meng Xing would have died by poison then before Lin Ze could find out Meng Xing's address. But, since he is acting as the boss of Huichen right now, he can't lose his cool.

Lin Ze stopped and turned to look at the man behind the folding screen and sneered. He knows that this isn't necessarily the boss of Huichen, so he isn't afraid to offend this person.

"If Officer Lin wanted to add a term in our exchange, then Officer Lin can tell us." Qiu Yi took a deep breath to calm himself to not punch Lin Ze. He also knows that if he fights Lin Ze, it will just be him who will lose.

"Is this flower seller really that important?" Lin Ze asked and frowned.

"I can't tell you the answer." Qiu Yi answered.

"Then, what can you tell me?" Lin Ze asked as he looked at the man through the gaps in the folding screen.

"I can tell you that this flower seller is actually a male – " Qiu Yi said and looked at Lin Ze. As expected, he saw that Lin Ze was shocked. " – and that he was the one who killed Jin Peng, your third uncle." He added.

Lin Ze's face turned cold. Even if Jin Peng is rotten, and was removed from their family, he was still blood-related to them! This flower seller… he is actually that person who he fought against with that dawn!

"Would you like to hear one more?" Qiu Yi asked, acting generously.

Lin Ze coldly looked at him. He knows that this person is trying to provoke him!

"This flower seller is from the Writhing Snake Gang." Qiu Yi slowly spoke. "This is all that we know about this flower seller." He told Lin Ze.

"'Writhing Snake Gang'…" Lin Ze's eyes flashed with a murderous glint. "Deal!" he said through his gritted teeth before he left. It was already sundown, and just hours later would be the right time to hunt prey in the dark.
