"Puh!" Qiu Ling spat out some sand that got inside his mouth after he and Lin Ze climbed out of the hole which they found earlier after digging into the sand-filled room where they arrived when they reached the dead-end of the secret passageway.

"It is really outside the Closed City!" Lin Ze said after he looked around outside and saw the endless golden sea of sand.

"As we thought so." Qiu Ling said.

Lin Ze nodded and then jumped out of the hole before he extended his hand to Qiu Ling. But, Qiu Ling didn't 'see' it and ignored his outstretched hand as he climbed out of the hole.

Lin Ze who acted as a gentleman. "…" he is blind… he is blind…! He thought, reminding himself that Qiu Ling was unintentional of not taking his hand. He inwardly sighed as he took back his hand. Fortunately, no one was around to see this happened.
