Chapter Two: Ava talking her friendship with Jake

(Ava's mind) Jake and I have been best friends, since we were kids. We grew up doing everything together. Our wolves imprinted on each other to protect one another from harms ways. One day when we're running in the forest in Wolf-Form, we came across a clearing. This clearing had a beautiful lake and cliff. We couldn't smell anyone, so we assumed that we found it first. We claimed it as our secret spot and we've been going there every since. Jake is 19 now and he found his mate a year ago not far from the clearing. Jake's mate is Rebecca and she is really nice. I remember when they first met, me and Jake were fighting. Rebecca crossed onto our territory in Wolf-Form and we left go check it out. When got to the east-side of the border she was just standing there. Rebecca's wolf took control and growled at me attempting to attack. Nathaniel (Jake's wolf) took control by immediately shifting and jumping in front of me to protect me from her. Jake realized that she was his mate after he had shifted. Rebecca's wolf is a pretty orange/brown mix. Once Jake told her about our relationship, she calmed down some. Jake has been very happy since he found, but she refuses to join the pack. She is currently staying with the Yellow Stone pack. Jake is a little upset about her choice, but I assure him that she'll come around. Jake stills wonders when I'm going to fine my mate; I'm not worried about the whole mate situation right now.
