WIP TITLE(2-25)CURRENTLY WRITING IT(Will take a few hour.)

--The chapter isn't finished I am currently making draft chapters for 4, 5,6,7 and 8. About how I want to write this story. this chapter will have over 1k words. currently has 664 at the time of writing this!!

Anthony's, observing most of the adults (around 7) he has barely interacted with selling their children for silver, he knew that one silver coin was worth 10,000 copper coins, enough to buy a small house near a clan territory, but a family's still family. Why would they sell their family?

Then he rethought his thought and he understood why the money the slave merchants were offering is something that they could only see in a big clan city, they would be able to send their oldest children to a school, to learn how to properly read and write.

Why wouldn't they take such an opportunity, to sell one of their younger children so their eldest can live a life of luxury for multiple years?

-First Person View-

'I'm very disappointed that even the local drunk sold his 13 years old daughter to the slave merchant that's disgusting I have interacted with the Village chief he didn't seem the type to allow people to sell their children;

What a crappy guy he once said. no amount of money would make him agree to sell children seeing it in real life is crazy.' I looked in disgust watching, 7 of the 123 Adults in the village sell their children to the intimidating butler.

I looked at the other adults that were like me, looking at these awful monsters selling their children, I walked towards a good friend of mine, Carter's daughter, Holly.

"Hi there, Holly I still can't believe Neil's father sold her to a slave merchant. How awful, I'm glad our parents are not like this". I went toward my best friend and brought up the topic at hand. She seemed to be sad because Neil was a good friend of hers.

"Oh, uh sorry I don't feel too happy right now, so can we go to a different area to speak I need a glass of water I can't really comprehend what's going on, I know it's common to sell children in low-class villages like ours but I've never thought we'd experience it". She cried out on her knees. I picked her up and took her inside my house and sat her down.

'Before I go out I should get her a blanket.' So before I went outside I went and got my blanket from my room. After I passed her the blanket, I went and grabbed a wooden cup from the kitchen then headed outside and walked toward the well which is near the back of the house. As I walked closer I saw my younger sister, Clay leaning upon the well, she seemed to be holding something. She was doing weird fidgets and making strange noises.

"Yo, Clay what're you doing". I asked dominantly. She looked kinda nervous, she seemed that she was hiding a book behind her back;

'Why does she have a book, they're not supposed to leave the local library, Yes they may be free but why'd she bring one outside when they're the only source of knowledge and enjoyment within the village? But why does my younger sister have one?'

"Clay, What do you have there is, that a book?" I question her to see her reaction. Before answering she started to dart her eye between me and the book and she decides to speak.

"Yes brother, I have a book, s..sorry"!! She cries It seems she has no self-confidence, which makes me feel upset for her since she's my younger sister. I thought for a few seconds and decided to say it's alright;

"Hey, It's alright we can take it back. Just make sure it doesn't happen again, ok!" I reached toward hovering my hand above her head and started rubbing her while trying to calm her down since she was still crying, after I rubbed her head she seemed to have jolted to a more energetic and happy mood, which put a small smile on my face.

"Ok, Anthy"! She squeaked in a cute girly voice. After I noticed she was in a better mood I grab the rope to the well and pulled on it until a small wooden bucket appears, it was filled halfway with water I grabbed the cup that I put on the edge of the well and dipped it within the water filling the cup. So after I filled the cup with water;

I sent the bucket back down, once I put the bucket back in its' original place my sister asks me a question.

"Anthy, Who's that cup of water, I never see you drink water....only milk," Clay says with a nervous expression;

'So, she does have a tiny bit of confidence, haha'. I answer her question;

"Haha, this is for Holly, her...She seems a little down, So I decided to bring her to our house and help her calm down". I speak nervously, since I care for my sister I don't want her to know about the horrors of our world, I am glad Carter taught me at a young age but it haunts me to this day, knowing slavery is a common thing, even other degenerate acts like brothels exist too.

"Oh, awesome I'm gonna follow". She said jumping up from her current position. Before she could even think I grab her by the arm and place the cup where I originally placed it and say;

"Before you go and say hi, can you please send that book back to where it belongs, if you don't ill tell mother and you know how aggressive she can be", I say with a hint of evil, I look towards her face and observe her reaction, it seems she doesn't want our mother find out she has a book.

"Ok, I'll take the book back" She spoke to me with a frown and then looked towards the ground, ha trying to make me feel guilty I've seen this act too many times;

"Good, now go"! I lightly shout.

Then after I did that small yell she leapt her way out of her, with the book in her hands.

I then pick the cup up and walk towards the house.
