Fight 2.0

Laura disappeared from where she was standing, outwitting Justin by revealing herself to another lonely upstairs. The girl gave a code to Justin to come closer while rolling one eye seductively.

"You want the game apparently. Okay." Not needing much thought, Justin ran after Laura to the next floor.

On the third floor, Laura leaned her back against the wall and folded her arms across her chest. She looked straight at Justin without changing her level expression. For some reason, it seemed that the small fight with the vampire hunter in front of him would be something interesting and not boring. She realized that without being influenced by Hallot who disappeared somewhere—at least Laura was grateful that Hallot had disappeared and given her time to master her own soul.

Sometimes Laura can be a cute girl and sometimes she can be wilder than a hyena. Hallot's job was to be a bad influence on the girl without interfering with what she was doing. She controlling Laura's soul does not mean arbitrarily controlling her body. Not yet. There will come a time when Hallot is very strong and begins to monopolize Laura's body. Have it forever.

Justin aimed at Laura with his crossbow. Instead of being afraid, the girl laughed softly, which made Justin pause for a moment.

"What are you laughing at?"

Laura took a deep breath just to stop her laughter. "Why don't you dare to kill me slowly, Mr. Leonidas? Like dousing me with holy water, sticking a rosary on my body, just piercing my heart before burning my body. Wouldn't it be more theatrical?"

Justin was wondering, how did the girl know his name? There is something more important than the question. True, Justin couldn't kill Laura at that time because he felt that Laura knew where The Victors were hiding. The necklace Laura was wearing was not without meaning. The existence of The Victors necklace is a sign that the girl is part of the vampire rulers on the mainland of the United States.

Justin threw his dart gun everywhere, then walked slowly towards Laura at the girl's request and challenge.

"I'd be happy to do that." Justin spread out his arms, signaling that he had nothing with him. "See, I don't carry any weapons."

Laura rolled her eyes. "If you mean the wooden pegs behind your belt, I think you're the top boaster I've ever known, Mr. Leonidas."

The corner of Justin's lips pulled up. "Okay." He pulled out a wooden peg tucked under his belt and dropped it down. "Give me information on where the Victors are hiding and I will release you. How?"

Spontaneously, Laura laughed quite loudly. "Aww… sadly I'm not a kindergartner who would agree with a stranger's words." Laura moved her index finger to signal Justin to come closer with a sensual gesture. "How about we get to know each other first, Mr. Leonidas?"
