Chapter 46: Dr. Trumann

"How was school today?' Dr. Hendricks asked. He had his usual attire of blue jeans, a jumper and his shoes but there was something about his hair that had changed or maybe that was just me.

"I told Daniel the truth and Patience. I came clean about everything," I said with a sigh as I leaned back on the couch and looked at the ceiling.

"And how do you feel about everything?" he asked.

"Honestly, I feel lighter," I replied. "It's like this huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can breathe once more. It didn't go as I planned, especially with Patience but we worked things out and she asked for some space to process everything and I don't blame her and as for Daniel, he hasn't spoken to me since I told him I remember the accident and that it was my fault."
