Doomsday Clock Part 2

Having crashed through the window of the Avengers tower, Scarlet sat there against the bar for a moment before slowly getting up. Glass crunched and broke under her and under hands and feet, she glanced at her reflection in the mirror behind her. She scoffed as she pulled the shards of glass out of her body, she examined the area and listened to see if anyone was around or not.

"Since I'm here, I might as well help myself to a few drinks of liqueur." Scarlet mumbled as she grabbed a liqueur bottle from a bucket of ice. She sniffed it as it smelt sweet and very strong, she used her finger nail to pop the lid off the top. "Down the hatch."

Scarlet started to take small gulps from the bottle as she didn't want to get a brain freeze from chugging it down. She then started to hear commotion from the other room, she raised an eyebrow up as she wondered who it was. Then she looked behind her as she saw a security camera as the light on it was blinking. "Live feed huh? Well how do you find this fun?" She grabbed the top and threw it at the security camera. "I hope you enjoyed the video."

"I'm telling you guys, Scarlet's just a myth. There's no way she'd be dumb enough to show up here in New York and in our tower. We have a very strong sec...." Tony said as he turned the corner and saw Scarlet drinking his liqueur. "Oh my God, she is real."

"See, I've told you she was on the DBC news!" Hawkeye said. "But no, you said you had one too many drinks!"

Tony was puzzled, he rubbed his eyes thinking he was still dreaming. "Yeah... no, she's real.. Jarvis activate turret security!"

"Of course." Jarvis said as two turrets came down from the ceiling and pointed at Scarlet, both had laser sighs aimed at her.

Scarlet glanced at the two as she could smell a familiar scent to Loki's coming towards them. It was Thor as he walked over and saw the damage to the window, he held his arm out as Mjölnir came flying out of one of the rooms and into his hand. He glanced over to the bar and saw Scarlet sitting there on the stool drinking a bottle of liqueur.

"Why have you done this? What has the people of Earth ever done to you? Sure they're small weak creatures. But I shall not allow you to harm my friends." Thor said.

Scarlet smirked as she finished the bottle of liqueur. "Why can't you tell?" Her eyes locked on with Thor as they had that blue haze to them.

"Loki, so you're behind this." Thor said as he threw Mjölnir at Scarlet, the hammer hit her hard as she was sent flying back through the bar and crashed through the wall and hit against another wall.

The blue haze in Scarlet's eyes flickered as they went out. Loki had lost control of Scarlet as she was free from his control and the mind stone, Scarlet tried to move Mjölnir off of her. But found it hard to do as she wasn't worthy of moving the hammer. "What the? Why is this so heavy?"

"Ah, I see you've found that out the hard way." Thor said as he held his hand out allowing Mjölnir to return to him. "Only those who are worthy can lift my hammer, and it seems you aren't among those people worthy of doing so."

Scarlet groaned as she got up, she felt dizzy but managed to regain her balance. She glanced over at Tony and Hawkeye and then back to Thor, there were a few members missing. Black Widow, Hulk, Captain America, War Machine and Falcon. It didn't seem to matter to Scarlet on who was there and who wasn't, she had a job to do and that was to find a way out of this Dimension and hunt Queen down. Even if it meant for her to go back to her old ways of killing people.

"I say we call Nick Fury and tell him we've got things under control and take her to the helicarrier to be locked up." Hawkeye said as he grabbed one of his arrows and adjusted his bow. "I can stun her if needed."

"Stun me? Lock me up?" Scarlet asked as she snickered and grins. "Oh, I'd like to see you try... but you won't get anywhere with it." She glanced over at Thor as she knew she wouldn't be much of a challenge for him. Despite her immortality and healing, she'd be a fried Grimm before the battle with him was over. "However... A civil war would be fun. Heroes against Heroes, Villains against Villains. Gods against Gods, a battle to the death!"

Thor seemed pumped about this idea, but he didn't really know of any other God that was among the humans. Well aside from Loki but that was about it. Tony and Hawkeye weren't too sure about the idea, even if they were to do so. SHIELD and Nick Fury would be furious about all the damages.

"So wait let me get this straight... basically a death battle?" Tony asked as his suit of armor started flying towards him piece by piece attaching to his body. "And who would be hosting this so called civil war hmm? You? Nick Fury?" His helmet was the only thing missing as it zoomed past Scarlet's head as Tony caught it. "Because the way I see things... you've been a wanted criminal throughout the entire multiverse. And trust me, news spreads like wild fire. You became a myth and a legend to non believers. Yet, here you are in the flesh."

Scarlet snickered and saw how Tony was suited up. "I'm aware of that, and is that a challenge I hear from you Stark? I'm the final villain of this story and only one of you will make it to the top to face me. Think of it as.... Mortal Kombat, the winner or duo team depending on how I want the rules to be played out, will face me in the end." She extended her arms out to her side as she smirked. "Of course, I will have several transformations throughout the battle."

Tony scoffed as he held his arm up as he was charging up a blast from his hand. "Yeah no, we're not going to do that." Before he could fire his repulsor at her time stood still.

Scarlet used her semblance to stop time as she walked towards Tony as she moved his arm towards Thor and then walked towards the opened window she had crashed through. She blinked as the repulsor fired hitting Thor, Scarlet turned around as she smirked. "Oh dear, how did that happen? Oh well."

"Friendly fire, what's the meaning of this Tony?" Thor asked.

"Pipe down Thor, she must've moved my arm towards you." Tony said as he looked over at Scarlet. "The World's mightiest and strongest heroes will make sure this civil war of yours doesn't happen. And you're looking at half of them now."

Scarlet snickered as she took a step back. "You three? Please. I'll be hijacking the Daily Bugle news channel to make my announcement. Until then, ta-ta boys." She took another step back and held her arms out in a T pose as she fell backwards out the broken window.

"By the Gods, she's mad." Thor as he went towards the broken window and looked out seeing if she splattered onto the ground or not. "She's gone."

Every hero and even Deadpool had showed up on the Helicarrier waiting for this big announcement that Scarlet was going to be making. As for the villains, Green Goblin had somewhat recovered but that didn't stop him from gathering the Sinster Six or having the other villains meet up at Oscorp.

Everyone waited and waited, time was going by slowly until every screen within New York and every part of the world switched on to the Daily Bugle news, Scarlet stood there arms crossed as she had Jameson tied up with a rag tied around his mouth. "Good evening ladies and gentlemen... tonight's entertainment will blow your socks off. So sit back and enjoy the news."

"She's got Jameson hostage." Peter said as he had his mask off. "I have a bad feeling about all of this.."

Deadpool shrugged as he smirked under his mask. "Well, can you blame her? He's got a motor mouth that doesn't stay shut." He turned away from the screen for a moment as he looked past the fourth wall. "Hey readers! Cheer for me when I kick this girl's rear end, she's not going to be a problem for your favorite character! Haha!"

The new screen changed to several locations, an Airport. The Statue of Liberty, Central Park and lastly town square. Each place had areas blocked off from civilians, the screen then changed back to Scarlet as she snickered. "Those areas I've shown you will be the locations of where the fights will be happening. I on the other hand will be waiting for the winner or winners to show themselves to me."

"She didn't say where she'd be at." Vaulter said as he crossed his arms. "How will we know where she's going to be?"

Green Goblin stayed silent as he waited to see where exactly Scarlet would be waiting at. Hulk and his group aka Agents of Smash were also left wondering where exactly. The screen then changed to the grand canyon where there was a giant arena set up. "This is where I will be waiting. I'm sure you all know where this is, so I'll leave it at that." Scarlet was about to shut the camera off as her eyes glowed. "Oh and one more thing, no cheaters will be allowed to cut straight to the final boss. Whoever cheats will be executed live on television while everyone watches, I don't care if you're a hero or villain."

"Just who does she think she is giving us rules on what we can and can't do?" Red Skull asked. "I can do whatever I please. I don't need to be given orders from some random person who shows up out of the blue."

The screen cuts to black as a timer started ticking. Everyone who had seen the broadcast quickly go to those areas that were shown on the screen, the civil war had begun. Scarlet had hidden cameras all over the place watching the events unfold. She had a margarita in one hand and a very very raw piece of meat in the other hand. "Everything is going as planned."

Jameson was still tied up still but he was dangling over the canyon as only muffled words came from him, Scarlet glanced over and stuck her tongue out at him, she turned back to the live feed as she watched as each hero team were faced against each other same with the villains. But there was something missing, two people. "Ara, what's this? It seems two cats were let out of the bag, I told them not to cheat. Now lets see which two didn't follow the rules..."

The cameras panned around and searched for the two strays as they spotted Killmonger and Kraven the hunter had split from the locations they were meant to be fighting at. Scarlet licked her lips as she bit down on the raw meat before slurping it up, she stood up as she looked over at Jameson.

"Well, it seems two of the villains didn't listen to the rules. What do you have to say about that Mr. J?" Scarlet asked as she walked over to him and started to loosen the rope.

The rag around Jameson's mouth slid off as he growled angrily. "Now you listen here young lady! I know you're working with Spider-Man behind the scenes to pull this crime!"

Scarlet yawned as she continued to loosen the rope. "I told you, but no. You want to only believe what you want to, frankly. You bore me as a hostage Jameson... perhaps I should just kill you once Killmonger and Kraven are here."

"You're insane! My blood will be on your hands! You hear me!" Jameson yelled.

Scarlet stopped as she sniffed the air. "Hello boys, I see you've broken the number one rule of this civil war I put together. Such a shame you two didn't duke it out like everyone else.." She turned around as she laughed. "And now I get to kill you both and Jameson live on television!"

"Nah, you're the one that' going to die." Killmonger said as he looked at her. "We could careless about loud mouth over there. Red Skull has a message for you as well." He grabbed his knife and rushed towards Scarlet cutting at her while he used his other hand which had the sharp claws from his Black Panther suit and swung them at Scarlet's face.

Scarlet ducked and dodged as she back flipped, she took both of her double barrel shotguns and fired them at Killmonger, the bullets hit his suit not doing any damage to him. As for Kraven he grabbed his neat and spear ready to capture Scarlet and stab her with his sharpened spear, Scarlet jumped over Killmonger and grabbed onto his head and threw him over her shoulder.

"And I thought you were here to kill me? What happened to all that talk?" Scarlet asked as she noticed something about Killmonger's armor. "Hmm...Vibranium armor huh? I've done my research before setting this little tournament up. And I must say, I could use it to make a replacement weapon for myself."

"That type of metal is hard to come by. Even in the black market." Kraven said as he threw his spear at Scarlet. "You're better off trying to take it from Wakanda and off of the people who have it."

Scarlet grabbed his spear and smirked before throwing it back at him. "Oops, did I forget to mention that in the promo?" She dashed towards Kraven and Killmonger as she grabbed them by their throats and slammed them down onto the hard rock ground. "All of this is just a big waste of time, but not for me."

Kraven, Killmonger and Jameson were confused at what she meant by all that. Then it started to dawn on them, Scarlet didn't just set up a civil war tournament. She had set traps as well, the locations she had shown were all traps, and the winners would be met with death by her hands. It was all coming together now. Scarlet cackled as she tore Killmonger's helmet off, since it wasn't fully secured to his Black Panther suit. Once Scarlet had torn it off, Scarlet had let them go but just for a small moment to turn the camera onto record. The live feed was being displayed now to then entire world.

Everyone who was fighting stopped as they saw what was being displayed before them on the screens. Even the X-Men took notice of this, Scarlet snickered as she pans the camera around at the three. The camera then returned towards her as the Grimm girl smirked. "As you can all tell, Killmonger and Kraven broke the rules. You know what that means don't you?"

"I knew he'd do that, but this is ridiculous." Black Panther said as he tightened his fist. "Why must he go against the rules?"

Scarlet cackled as she sat the camera down, she walked over to Killmonger and Kraven as she put both of her hands under their necks. Her sharp nails poking at their throats, she leaned forward and slowly licked Kraven's cheek as she then dug her nails into his throat. "You all get to watch as I kill them on live television. And then, we will see which of you are going to make it to the finals to face me."

Peter couldn't just sit around and watch this happen. But he also knew he couldn't go and intervene either, or else he'd be the next one on her kill list. "I can't let them die, even if they are villains. Minus Jameson, but still.... this is so frustrating!"

"Easy Parker." Strange said. "We can't risk anyone else losing their life to her hands."

"Doc, can't you use the time stone too I don't know, rewind time before this happened?" Peter asked looking at Doctor Strange.

"If I could, this would've been over a long time ago kid." Strange said. "But I can't, the damages have already been done. Even if I were to see how many outcomes we've won against her, the chances of or survival in the palm of her hands on down to a possible one."

The sound of flesh ripping started to be heard from the screens displaying the live killing. Scarlet was ripping Kraven's head off slowly as Jameson watched in horror from where he was still being dangled at. Killmonger tried to get away by using his knife to cut at Scarlet's hand and foot, It didn't help him as Scarlet grabbed him by the foot and dragged him towards her. Kraven screamed in pain as he was silenced. His head was completely ripped off, Scarlet pushed his body over as she tossed his head aside.

"I hope you all enjoyed that main dish... it's onto the next two meals to be tenderized and slaughtered." Scarlet spoke in a sinister tone as she dragged Killmonger towards the edge of the cliff. "Oh and I should mention, those of you who fail in this battle.... will be blown to pieces." She threw Killmonger over the edge and quickly threw a small rock at him as it hit his head, it was a long drop for him and for Jameson. Scarlet glared at Jameson as she cut the rope with her nails sending him to his death below with Killmonger.

"Oh my God, she's a psychopath." White Tiger said as she clinched her fist. "And what does she mean by the losers will be blown to pieces? I haven't seen a single bomb around."

Ant-Man shrunk down as he slipped through a crack in the ground, he fell downwards for a few until he hit the bottom. His eyes widen as he saw what was hidden beneath, he quickly made his way back up as he grew back. "There's hundreds of bombs spread out underground. Meaning each area has more... maybe thousands."

Scarlet turned back towards the camera and was about to shut it off. "Time is ticking, you really think the timer I set was for you all... it's obviously not. So make your choices and fight to the death. If any one else breaks the rules everyone will go sky high..." She turned the camera off. "Now then, that will give me plenty of time to use the Vibranium for what I need. But first....." She sprouted her Nevermore wings and flew into the air. "I need to find Wakanda."
