Chapter 24: Crawling

Azula used her fire-bending to knock Kurumi out of the ring as she then used it again to surround Scarlet in wall of blue flames, trapping the Grimm girl inside a ring of fire.

"Oh I'm sorry, did I ruin something important between you both?" Azula asked with a grin on her face. "You two should've done that elsewhere and away from this." She laughed as she glared at Scarlet. "And here to think, you were the most fearsome warrior throughout the entire universe and a force not to be messed with. And yet.... here you are, trapped in my ring of fire."

Scarlet scoffed as she looked at her. "You must really love hearing yourself talk don't ya?" She grinned as she twirled Black Rose around as she slammed the tip of the scythe down. She jumped up onto the handle and bounced off of before grabbing the scythe again, she landed outside the blue ring of fire as she looked at Azula yet again.

"I must say.... I'm impressed." Azula spoke with a sadistic tone in her voice. "Usually people trapped in my flames would be begging me to let them go, but you...." She eyed Scarlet for a bit as she smirked. "If only you were in my world, you would've been able to help me track the Avatar down and make sure he was crawling at my feet."

Scarlet scoffed again as she jumped towards Azula and kicked her in the stomach knocking her back a bit. "Thanks but no thanks. I've got my own stuff I need to do." She then swung Black Rose at Azula and nicked her. "I'm not the type to follow orders from a snobby spoiled brat like you."

Azula growled as she grabbed Scarlet's thigh and used her fire-bending to set Scarlet on fire, Scarlet was engulfed in the blue flames. Azula smirked as she laughed, she stood proud as she looked at the flames engulfing Scarlet. Natsu watched from the sidelines as the dragon slayer chuckled a bit at this.

"Oh boy, she made the wrong choice in doing that." Natsu said with a smirk as he leaned over the edge. "HEY SCARLET! SHOW THIS WANNABE DRAGON SLAYER WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF!!!!"

Azula was puzzled at what was being shouted, she turned her head towards where Natsu was shouting from. "Please, there's no possible way someone can withstand my heat."

Natsu chuckled as his smirk grew wider. "Oh yeah?! Why don't you stop paying attention to me and pay attention to the fight?!"

Azula was still confused, but heard cackling as Scarlet slowly walked out from the blue flames. She dusted herself off as she charged towards Azula and headbutted her hard. Scarlet grinned as she grabbed her by the waist and bent backwards and slammed Azula down, she then let go of the firebender as she back-flipped over her. Azula stood up as she growled, she glared at Scarlet with a burning fire in her eyes.

"He's right, you shouldn't take your eyes off me." Scarlet said with a grin on her face. "If anyone should know what hell is like after facing me, it's him." She cracked her neck and knuckles as she grinned widely.

"Oooo, look at them go!" Both Zeno's said as they watched Scarlet and Azula fight. "Yeah, look at them. They're not giving up!"

The grand priest rubbed his chin as he watched. "This girl is fascinating, I won't say for sure. But she might put some of the current universes to shame." He glanced towards Beerus and Whis. "Hmm, oh lord Beerus... Whis, you both said you and Universe 7 had a small war with her.... Yes?"

Beerus stiffens up as he slowly turns to look at the grand priest. "Well, we didn't really partake in fighting her. But yes, it was a war." He felt nervous thinking that Universe 7 would be eliminated from the tournament.

"I see, and how is it that she's alive?" The grand priest asked curiously looking at him. "Usually someone from your Universe would make sure she isn't alive. But why is that?"

Before Beerus could answer Whis chimed in to answer instead. "Well you see, she's not your ordinary human or mortal. She's a Grimm, a creature born of darkness fueled by hatred and grief. Keeping her down is nearly impossible, when she can just be reborn from the Grimm pits in her world."

"Interesting, what do you think of that lord Zeno's?" The grand priest asked as he looked over towards the two Zeno's watching the fight.

"She's practically immortal, yeah yeah, she's immortal." Both Zeno's said as they seemed to be amazed at how well Scarlet is capable of surviving. "Not even being erased by us will have any effect on her."

The others sitting on the sideline hearing this scoffed as some of them haven't faced Scarlet's wrath, while others have. Ed gulped nervously just remembering how much hell she put him and everyone through, Natsu just smirked as he grinned widely.

"Kick her ass!" Natsu barked shouting loudly as he noticed Gray had gotten hit out of the ring. "Huh? How did you get knocked out?"

Gray crossed his arms and he scoffed. "Some chick who looks like she just came out of the circus, doing all sorts of stunts and flips."

"Huh?" Natsu asked puzzled as he looked back at the tournament ring, he saw who Gray was talking about. "How did she manage to do that? Didn't you... I don't know. Use your ice magic to knock her down a few times?"

Gray scoffed again as he kept his arms crossed. "She hit my pressure points with her fingers blocking any flow of magic in my body."

Ty-Lee back flipped towards where Mai was at, she looked at her for a moment as she smiled. "I took care of ice boy. How's Azula doing with her match?"

Mai looked at her and shrugged a little, she wasn't really paying any mind to what was going on. "I don't know. I haven't been paying any attention..." Mai turned around as she looked towards Azula's location.

Scarlet snickered as she headbutted Azual as she grabbed her by the leg and slammed her down. Azual gasped as her breath was taken away but she didn't stop there, she kicked Scarlet in the gut as she shot fire from her finger tips at her.

"Didn't your mother ever teach you not to play with fire? Get too close, you'll get burned." Azual smirked as she felt Scarlet let go of her leg, she jumped backwards and onto her hands as her legs wrapped around Scarlet's neck and then threw her towards the edge of the ring. "One wrong move from you and you're out of the ring."

Scarlet smirks as she looks back down the void and then over towards Azula. "Is that what you think? You think I'll go out that easy? Maybe I should've taken you out first instead of focusing on Natsu and Ed. But where's the fun in that?" She rushed towards Azula and threw her arm back and then threw her arm forward as her fist connected with Azula, once again knocking the wind right out of her lungs. Scarlet then grabbed Azula by the waist with both of her hands and spun around with her before throwing her towards Ty-Lee and Mai.

"Tch, she's getting cocky." Azual said as she used her fire-bending to stop herself from hitting anything. "Why don't we show her what the three of us can do? I think it's time to step it up a bit."

"Ooo, yes. Tag team time!" Ty-Lee said with a grin on her face. "She's going to regret messing with you Azula!" She giggled as she looked towards Scarlet. "It's time you faced the three of us at once!"

Scarlet cackled as she popped her knuckles, her eyes glowed with excitement. "You think three of you can stop me? It doesn't matter if there's an army of fire-benders. I'll take you all on!" She let out a bellowing growl as she licked her lips. "This is becoming more and more exciting, it's a shame I don't have any maiden powers. But that would be overkill."

"It's starting to heat up now, are you sure you can take all three of them on by yourself? Ty-Lee can hit your pressure points to block any path in your body to prevent you from using your semblance." Erza said as she walked up next to Scarlet, she glared at the Grimm girl with a look of hate. "Just because I'm helping you doesn't mean I forgive you."

Scarlet looked at Erza and grinned. "Titania.... Fine, I'll accept your help, but after we deal with these three. You're next."

Erza chuckled as she looked towards the three. "Ty-Lee and Mai may not look it, but they're dangerous, Gray was knocked out of the ring by Ty-Lee." Her armor changed in a blink of an eye. "Requip! Flame Empress Armor!"

"Hell yeah! Now we're talking!" Natsu yelled from the stands. "Two Scarlet's teaming up! Kick their asses you guys!"

"Natsu that's enough, let everyone focus on what's going on." Makarov said as he closed his eyes for a moment. "But I agree with Erza... Scarlet did terrible things to us. Holding a grudge against her is the least of our worries right now." He then opened his eyes as he looked towards the ring. "I can't believe I'm saying this.... to avoid having our universe erased... We must team up with Scarlet if things get to hairy for us or even her for that matter."

Scarlet heard Makarov despite how far they were from each other, she looked over to Erza as the Grimm girl chuckled under her breath. "Looks like your master has a point."

Both Zeno's were amazed upon hearing this. "A tag team! Yeah that's going to be so cool! Both universes teaming up to avoid being erased!"

Azula started to laugh as she looked at Scarlet and Erza. "If that's how you want it..." A small electric bolt of lightning twisted up and around her arms. "Then I'll have to get creative with my lightning-bending."
