Chapter 55: Gemini

As Haruka drove off from the shrine with Chibiusa in the passenger seat of her car. Scarlet took a moment to think things over on what she should do, chase the two or take the scouts out one by one. She stood up and began pacing around, walking down the side walk muttering to herself and was lost in thought.

Not far from where Scarlet was walking, a church had just finished being in session. Though, one of the sister nuns had looked familiar. Her eyes caught onto the appearance of Scarlet walking by, with a small gasp came from their lips as they started waving. "Hey! Over here!"

Scarlet stopped as she turned her gaze over to the person who was calling out to her, her crimson red eyes scanned around as she noticed Nia. "Oh, it's just you. What was your name again?"

"Oh stop being forgetful, it's me Nia Honjo. You know the sister spirit." Nia spoke. "Come on, don't tell me you forgot about me?"

Scarlet looked at her with confusion as she tilts her head curiously. "Nia.... Nia....Nope, doesn't ring any bells." She shrugged lightly as she continued walking along the side walk.

"Hey wait!" Nia spoke as she chased after her. "Stop please!"

Scarlet ignored her as she continued to think, she walked right through a bunch of green lights. Causing cars to swerve and tires screech. Trucks and cars crashed into one another and some people where shouting at Scarlet for being to reckless, but all that went in one ear and out the other.

"Damn it, wait up!" Nia yelled. "Don't make me stop you myself."

Scarlet stopped, she slowly turned her gaze to look at the spirit. "Stop me yourself? Ara Ara, and how do you plan to do that?"

Nia grinned widely. "Oh? You want to know?" She held her hand out as a glowing ball form. "Rasiel!" A book then appeared in her hand as Nia opened it and began writing something in it. "There."

Scarlet was confused as she raised an eyebrow, just then. Her body started moving on its own as she was walking towards Nia. "What the hell?"

Nia grinned again as she held Rasiel in her hand. "That's the power of my angel, I can make anyone do anything and, I can even see anything I want about the person I'm targeting. For example. I can tell you and Kurumi did the dirty." She smirked as she adjusted her glasses. "I can see much more as well. Just now, when I stopped you in your tracks, that was another part of Rasiel's power. Future Entry, I can make you or something else happen, but it would take time for it to happen."

Scarlet struggled to break free from Nia's control. "Oh yeah? Did you happen to foresee this?" The Grimm girl slowly raised her hand up. "Zafkele!"

Nia was puzzled for a moment, she raised an eyebrow up curiously. "What are you doing?"

Scarlet was silent for a moment, but eventually Zafkele appeared behind Scarlet, the giant golden clock looming behind. She smirked as she felt the restraints on her body break, she snickered a little and stepped back. "So, I guess you couldn't foresee this then, pity. Not that it matters."

Nia gulped nervously. "Ehehe....I was a little unaware of this. Stupid, stupid. How did I overlook this? Of course I should've been aware of that. You can use Kurumi's powers, you're married to her...Gahhh! Stupid Nia!" Nia ruffled her own hair, she was getting angry at herself for not seeing this in Rasiel. "I should've known, damn it."

"You know." Scarlet spoke as she took a step closer to Nia. "I could always use an extra pair of hands in this world."

Nia shook her head as she looked at Scarlet. "And why would I help you? You're just a monster killing people for sport."

"Aw, thank you." Scarlet said with a small laugh. "Kill a few people, you're a murderer. Kill a million, you're a conqueror." Zafkele vanished from behind Scarlet, the Grimm girl circled Nia as she whispered in her ear. "The way I see it, you can help me bring in the Sailor guardians, and I can kill them one by one, or....all at once. And you can tell me how you got here, because last I checked... you were still in Tengu City when Queen kidnapped Marigold."

Nia bit her lip and looked away. "Tch, I won't fall that easily. But I will tell you how I got here." She crossed her arms. "Yes, that is true. I was still in Tengu City at the time, but while you and Kurumi went to go save Mairgold. Salem, from what I was told by Shido. Your mother, invaded. Thanks to something Queen had done prior to you and Kurumi leaving. I was about to aid Shido and them in the Grimm attack, but Kotori pushed me into the rift that was going to swallow up Natsumi."

"So, if it wasn't for what the flame spirit did, Natsumi would be standing here in front of me instead. Interesting." Scarlet spoke, she stopped behind Nia as she walked off. "I'll give you ten days to think over my offer. But until then, I'll stay clear of you, I don't fully trust you right now. There isn't any telling what you really have planned."

Nia was about to speak but she watched as Scarlet disappeared into the rush hour crowd. "Damn it, she's a slippery one. Knowing she can use Kurumi's powers whenever she wants to...that proves problematic. Still." She closed her eyes and hummed softly. "I could use this new information I just learned, to make a new Manga!"

Scarlet lurked in the shadows as she was stalking Ami. The more she got closer to her, the more Ami felt a chill run down her spine, Scarlet knew what she was doing. Sure if Ami took notice of her being followed and makes a run for it, Scarlet would have her scent memorized the next time they encounter. But for now, it seemed like Ami was plotting something.

Ami stopped as she noticed Minako at the arcade, she walked over as she saw her friend playing the Sailor V arcade game. "Minako." Ami waved and spoke softly. "How are you holding up after what we all heard from Haruka and Chibiusa?"

Minako stopped playing for a moment, she didn't seem to care if she didn't get a high score in the game or not. "I'm doing fine for the most part...It's better to have a broken heart than no heart at all.."

Ami nodded lightly as she fell silent for a moment. "I was going to go see sister Nia at the church...but I didn't want to go alone, knowing that Scarlet may still be out there. Waiting for one of us to screw up."

"I get ya." Minako spoke scratching her head a little. "If anyone can stop her, it would be sister Nia. But...we haven't the slightest clue on if her powers can even stop someone who can just well...heal wounds."

The door to the arcade opened and closed, Scarlet had walked in. But was wearing a disguise, she casually did what any other sane person would do, get tokens and play a few games. Now, since she was wearing a different kind of disguise, Ami and Minako hadn't noticed her. Scarlet wasn't too far from the two scouts, she listened to them talk about plans and other necessary actions to take.

"What we need to do, if Usagi didn't screw up her own attack...with her kick. We need Usagi to get serious, no joking around. She needs to boost her game up." Minako spoke. "We lost Sailor Mars to that monster, If we keep standing around like lost puppies. Who knows which one of us is next."

Ami nodded lightly. "Yeah, but we can't be too harsh on Usagi right now...she's still trying to take in what had happened."

"Yes, but still..." Minako spoke. "We don't have the slightest idea who Scarlet is going to go after next. It could be you, me...anyone who may be alone right now."

Scarlet listened as she was indeed thinking who she should target next. She could simply use Kurumi's devouring shadow to drag Ami and Minako down into it and do away with them. But she also knew now that, Nia had her way of making something happen. So she needed to plan this out more carefully. The more the thought about it, the more she continued to listen to Ami and Minako speak. But she made it seem like she wasn't listening to their conversation, the background noise of her playing the Sailor V game across from where Minako and Ami were at was filling the air while the two scouts chatted whatever plans they my have.

"We should at least stay on our toes..." Ami spoke softly as she looked at Minako. "But you're right..." She paused for a moment as she looked towards the door. "If she targets any of us next. It might be Haruka and Chibiusa...but that could also be a curve ball."

As Scarlet kept her gaze on the arcade machine and played Sailor V, she overheard what Ami had said. That was an idea for sure yes. But she began to wonder if she could change that idea to something more....fun.

Nia scratched her head as she wandered around Tokyo, looking for Scarlet. She was lost and had wandered past Usagi's home. She did stop however and rubbed her chin as she pondered something, she summoned Rasiel. She took a quick look at what had happened previously, as an image of Usagi and the others sitting at the cafe appeared. She touched it as memories flashed through her mind, seeing how they were told that Rei had died. Nia stopped before she could look anymore.

"So, Scarlet did that." Nia spoke under her breath. She adjusted her glasses again as she was going to write something down in Rasiel but she heard the door to Usagi's house open. Quickly, Nia had Rasiel vanish as her outfit changed to her nun outfit.

As the door opened, Usagi walked out, her gaze met Nia's as she let out a small sigh. "Oh hey sister Nia.." Her usual mood was gone, replaced with depression, sadness and hopelessness.

"My, what seems to have gotten you looking so blue?" Nia asked as she already knew what the problem was. But she wanted to hear it from Usagi's mouth. "You can tell me."

Usagi looked away, she crossed her arms as she didn't answer Nia's question. It seemed getting her to open up about the situation was going to be harder than Nia had thought. Usagi stayed silent as she kept her mouth shut, but resumed walking.

Nia sighed and closed her eyes, she summoned Rasiel once more, writing down what actions Usagi would be doing. Usagi's body suddenly stopped and turned around as she was facing Nia, her eyes widened as she felt her body moving towards Nia. "H-Hey what's going on?" She closed her eyes tightly as she was expecting something bad was about to happen. When she slowly opened her eyes she noticed nothing happened. "Huh what? I thought..."

Nia closed Rasiel as it vanished. "Okay, that's better. Now. Tell me what happened, Sister is here and she will listen to you." Nia placed a reassuring hand on Usagi's shoulder.

Usagi's eyes began to water, tears began to stream down her face as she cried. She felt Nia pull her into a hug, her tears muffled by the hug as she kept crying. Nia strokes the back of her head as she shushed Usagi in a low voice. "Shh, Shh....it's okay now. It's okay...." Nia wasn't bothered by how wet her outfit was getting from Usagi's tears.
