“Why did you leave?” I asked with my voice strained. She sighed, tightening her grip around her, not meeting my gaze.

“I… I.. need tranquility.” She breathed out.

“And I didn't provide you with it?” I asked in a low but angered tone, taking a step closer.

She gave me a seething look and hissed, “You demolished it.”

“I am also trying to build it back.” I reasoned.

“I don’t want to live with you anymore.” She said sternly but her words made my heartbeat drop in dread and pain.

Astounded by her absurd words I asked, hoping I heard her wrong, “What.. Did you say?”

“I don’t want to live with a heartless murderer like you.” She ridiculed me, I grabbed her arms, pulling her close to me and scowled.

“Don’t you dare to talk about leaving me again. Do you even know how much I have struggled to make you mine?” I asked, gritting my teeth.
