"You are so beautiful," A man's husky voice says. He pushes a piece of hair out of my face behind my ear as he kisses my forehead. Electricity surges through my body. Warmth begins rushing over me. I try to look up to see his face, but it's blurry.

Eternal Wolves

I was beaming the entire time at the party with my pack. I never felt more proud and loved than I did every time Ari looked at me. She was clearly in her element and a social butterfly with my pack members. They were all so excited to finally meet their Luna. A piece of me really wanted to just let our lives remain the way they are at this moment. We could stay at Freedom Ridge, safe and protected from the outside world, but I knew that I would never be able to keep Ari to myself like that. She was meant for bigger things. And apparently, the moon goddess has bigger plans for me as well. 


As we settle into our seats to eat, Alessandro comes and sits across from me with Illyana. Of course, I haven’t seen Illyana since we left to go to Black Claw for the Mating Ball and Claiming and was elated to see her in Alessandro’s embrace. I got up and went around the table to hug her.
