"I don't hate Ashley," Martins started, his voice slightly uncertain. "I just feel that we have different interests. I'm trying to change you know? We made a mistake and it hunted me since. I just want everything to end." Mary said nothing, but folded her arms around her thin frame. "You said you wanted to be a nun?" Martins continued.

"Yes. I want to be able to do the will of God. Actually, I came from a Catholic orphanage as well. I say Catholic orphanage because it was run by nuns. They seem so near perfect and I want to be in that crowd."

"So you've never kissed before?" Martins asked and suddenly wished he hadn't. Her fingers were still clutching around her arm as the fierceness of the evening's breeze brushed past her skin.

"What?" She asked.

"Oh! It's nothing," he said, glad she didn't hear. She did quite frankly and beamed inwardly over the fact that he didn't ask again. "Would you like an orange juice?" He asked.
