Layla  
An Elf’s Tale: 
 
Hi my name is Layla and I am an Elf living in the human world, my life has not always been easy. But with the love and support of my loving Granny and best friends being an outcast among my own kind was at the very least survivable.  
That is until the day I met Alex Night, that day my life changed and for the first time in a very long time I was happy. 
But like most things my happiness didn’t last. 
Now I am a prisoner of the Prince of darkness a.k.a the soon to be king of the Dark Elves. In a very short time, the world I thought I knew is turned upside down and I find myself in the midst of an evil scheme. With the burning question why me? 
Will I find my happily ever after or will I sub come to the wicked scheme of my capture?

Layla,  an Elf's tale

We finally manage to climb out of the hole that had so suddenly swallowed us up, I wish I could say that both Alex and I were unharmed but unfortunately, we were not. Alex had sustained a very bad cut and had bled quite a lot. I did use a healing spell but as I had to heal myself as well my spell was not quite strong enough to heal him completely, he was still weak from blood loss. We found Tempest and Eric sitting around a fire and by the smell in the air they have made food. 


“Layla, Alex, thank goodness you are okay. I was so worried about you both.” 


Tempest came running towards us and flung her arms around both of us. 


“Easy Tempie, we are very happy to see you too but unfortunately Alex is not so steady on his feet at the moment.” 


She really looked at Alex and saw that he was quite pale. Without asking questions she helped me walk him over to the fire. Eric meanwhile had placed a sleeping bag on the ground which we laid Alex on.
