Layla  
An Elf’s Tale: 
 
Hi my name is Layla and I am an Elf living in the human world, my life has not always been easy. But with the love and support of my loving Granny and best friends being an outcast among my own kind was at the very least survivable.  
That is until the day I met Alex Night, that day my life changed and for the first time in a very long time I was happy. 
But like most things my happiness didn’t last. 
Now I am a prisoner of the Prince of darkness a.k.a the soon to be king of the Dark Elves. In a very short time, the world I thought I knew is turned upside down and I find myself in the midst of an evil scheme. With the burning question why me? 
Will I find my happily ever after or will I sub come to the wicked scheme of my capture?

Layla,  an Elf's tale

The first thing I became aware of was the soft warm cozy feeling of being wrapped up in a warm blanket. The second was voices they were far off like the voices came from another room first indistinct but as awareness returned, I started recognizing the voices as those of my parents, Layla, Alex, Leah, Eric, Aroura, Damien, Dominic’s mum, and Alex and Layla’s parents and lastly Dominic’s voice the moment my mind registered his voice my eyes flew open at first, I didn’t know where I was but then I realized I was in one of the rooms in the house Alex parents and my mom used as a clinic. I tried to sit up but my arms felt heavy and every part of my body hurt when I tried to move no sooner did, I try and move or a little bell chimed and the next moment Dominic filled the doorway. A split second went by between him standing there and him engulfing me in his strong arms nearly crushing me to his chest. 


“Thank the powers that be your awake! You scared the hell out of me.”
