18. Opening Up!

Alia who had just entered the cafe greeted the lady owner with a smile, the woman returned her smile, with a hand wave! She just smiled again before getting in, wearing the apron, taking the tray! When she got out to take down the orders, her eyes scanned the man who sat at the corner, near the window, and just was looking out, she frowned. With a shrug she attempted to reach him but others customers were waiting, so she first went ahead with them, helping her colleagues, and finally when there was no more rush, she reached him with a smile, her knuckle tapped the table twice, "Knock knock!!"

Dhruv tilted towards her, and slowly his lips curved up faintly, she frowned.

"You are here!" he pointed! She just nodded!

What was wrong with him? He kept smiling back then, but now....

"You haven't ordered yet?"

He shrugged pouting, "I haven't thought of it!"

"They said you are here from the noon!" she then said her brows raised. She then took a seat across him with a smile as she now propped her hands up, resting her chin between them, "Were you waiting for me?" she asked with a smile!

It was obvious for her to ask it, it was evening now, and her colleagues said that he was seated here from the noon, kept observing the outside view, and also had denied for any order twice!

While the other way, he just kept staring her! What made her think that? Anything. But one, all he could think while staring her was that, that she is cute! Her hairstyle that made her look even more cute! That high pony tail with those funks falling over her face! He just chuckled, "I don't know!" he replied with a shrug, then looked away, back to the busy road again!

Her frown deepened, but his side view saw her soon getting up with a sigh and leave, did he say anything wrong? He sighed not looking at the leaving figure of her, he just was frank. Perhaps he learnt it from his sister! He chuckled inward!

And soon he heard the same tap sound of the table as she knocked again, he turned to her and then a frown settled on his face! Where is her apron?! And before even he could think anything, she held her hand out, making him taken aback.

"What?!" he asked.

She smiled, "You don't need a coffee, you need company!" she smiled again, "So...." her hand soon took grip of his rasing it up, "Let's take a walk!" she said out and his eyes widened a bit in surprise.

Walk?! What was she talking about? Company? He became thoughtful, was it what he needed right now? But how did she know if it really was?! As he still kept thinking, she pulled him up, surprising him, "You think too much!" she shook her head as she said and took him out of the cafe before giving a nod to the lady who seemed to be the owner, all the way pulling his hand gently as if guiding him, his brows arched! Really?! Is he overthinking about what has happened?

When they were out, she left his hand! He really didn't know how did she do it, and the fact that it didn't disturb him! Well it may be cause he already was disturbed!

"I am going to home, give me company!" she then said!

He frowned again, didn't she say that it was him who needed company, now it's her?

"Let me bring my car then!" he said just that and was about to turn, when she called for him! He turned with a confused look again, "I said a walk!!" she urged.

Well what's the difference?!

"Al-right?" he said, she smiled, and then started walking ahead, taking few turns and he kept following her!

"Why were you upset?" Alia asked coming straight to the point!

"Am I?"

"Aren't you?" she asked now looking at him, while walking, her hands behind!

He looked at her, his hands buried in his pockets. "Perhaps!"

Again? She looked at him in confusion for a brief moment before sighing slightly, "I think by sharing, you'll lose confusion!" she said with a shrug, "Cause then you seek clarity!!" she added!

She looked at him with hope and he with uncertainty of whatever he felt and to think!

He sighed and let out everything without any hesitation while they continued to walk, he kept saying and sighing while she kept listening and nodding! He said what had happened with his family years ago, and the choas that still was wandering inside, and finally the reason he was being weird!

"So....you are that 'my sister's friend!'?" she said more to herself which he probably ignored to respond.

"Why is she always like that?" he asked instead, looking at her, she looked back at him as if she was holding back!

She shrugged, "May be that's her way!"

He said nothing, and she continued, "Well to be honest, it's you who befriended her, shouldn't you be the one to understand her either?!"

He became thoughtful, "May be something bothered her or you choose the wrong time to quarrel?!"

'Not.Now...! Ajith! Not now!!' he recalled her saying, and probably the moment she tried to be calm! Did he overreact?

He nodded thoughtfully, "It's okay to have conflicts, but don't let them change your opinion towards her! You made someone your friend who is of chilled heart, that was your choice, now don't go by complaining!" she said with a slight shrug!

He smiled giving a nod, "I think I just overreacted!"

She smiled and gave a shook, "It would be weird if you didn't!! Her words hurt you cause she means close to you, don't you think a human does that??"

He chuckled, she speaks both the ways!

"Well whatever, I am sure of one thing! You are close to her too, else she wouldn't be letting out her anger or whatever she felt like to be bothering on you!" she said and suddenly stopped making him stop too and turn to her! She turned to him, "She is your big sister right!" she said placing her hand on his shoulder, he looked at her hand then back to her again, "So just think she took the role!"

He looked down nodding thoughtfully, and his lips curved up, "For the first time!" he said to himself under his breath!

She smiled, removing her hand before patting him twice, making him look up again! "I am home!" she said nodding towards the short two storey building ahead! He followed her gaze then back to her, giving a nod with a smile!

"I am sorry, I wasted your time!" he said apologetically.

She shook her head, "I thought we are friends too!"

He just smiled, "So....should I call you Dhruv or....Ajith?"

He frowned, and thought, "Whatever you wish like to!"

She nodded thoughtfully, "Dhruv is fine!" she said to herself, "Ajith is....." she looked up at him now, "Just for Dhvani!" she said with a smile! He smiled too!

"So are you feeling okay now!"

"Alot better!"

She smiled again, making him wonder! Won't she feel tired by doing that always?!

"Uhm....shall I leave then?" she asked.

He halted, leave?! Okay ....but...

"You know everything about me now....but I know nothing about you!" he began!

"Except your name.....and the place you work!"

"You want to know about me?" she asked and he nodded without thinking much!

She smiled, "You know my name and my workplace, then keeping it aside, I also work at a kindergarten school as a teacher, and.... also work for my passion!"

He frowned, "Intresting?! What is it?"

"I want to become a famous voice actress!" she said with hope in her eyes, he smiled and also was mused! Voice actress?

"Can I....hear it?" he asked.

She smiled even more now, and soon her hand reached into her handbag and she handed him a pendrive! "Hear it!!" she said.

He took it with a shook, he meant to hear it now...but well okay?!

"Well then see you later!" she said and attempted to turn!

"Alia!" he called out! She turned with a questioning look! He said nothing but moved further close and hugged her, though he didn't know it was appropriate to do it or not but he did! And she was taken aback at once and her brows raised!

"Thanks for the company!" he said as he breathed!

She smiled, and her hands reached up to pat him, "Alright! You are always welcome!"

He chuckled, "You want me to be weird all over again!"

"I don't mind!"

He shook his head pushing himself away, "Goodnight!" he said! She nodded, "Goodnight!!" and soon she turned and left! She made her way up the stairs and went to the room in the second floor before she waved her hand at him! He chuckled, was it rental? He wondered!

He sighed, well the woman made him walk, now he had to return to the cafe so that he could drive! But he was glad that her house was just two streets away from the cafeteria!
