"Oh you guys missed a lot of fun," Ness can't help herself to rub it in on Lia's and Layla's faces as they both pout.

"It was nothing." I mouth to Layla as she sits besides me.

"I really wanted to see you fight." she pouts even more and Seth approaches smiling tooth to tooth. I must say, since he found out that Lia is his mate, he has been very cheesy and always wants to be close to her. "Give the girl a break Seth, she just woke up." Ness throws the guy a piece of bread.

"Can't help it, my wolf can't help it either." he holds her in her arms and she blushes.

"This is too cute to watch." Layla pretends to gag and I push her with my shoulder.

"Where are the others?" I ask not seeing  my little girl anywhere.

"I don't know where your mate is but I believe he's with Lilly, the others are with the worriors." Seth says drinking from Lia's cup, am happy for her for having a mate such as Seth.

"Then why are you here?" Ness looks at him suspiciously but before he can defend himself the other guys join us and I smile as Lilly runs coming to snuggle by my side.

"Morning sweetheart." I shower her face with kisses at which she complains that am embarrassing her, I guess like father like daughter, grumpy.

Ryan's POV.

I have never seen women fight like that. Seems we have a lot to learn about Blood Moon than I thought, so I call the alpha king to my office, to at least get a way forward since I think it's time to get serious. I hear a knock on my door and look up knowing it's the alpha from his power exuding from a far.

"You may enter." I say putting my documents aside and he comes in looking anywhere around the office but me. I sigh, knowing he's trying to control his anger towards me. "You can hate me all you want but that won't even be enough to match up to how I loath myself." I tell him and he looks at me blankly.

"I really want to make you suffer but then again, she won't be pleased with me. I don't just hate you because of what you did to her, it's because you bring shame to the name 'Alpha'." Well if that doesn't hit me right in the heart. "Though that's it, I still want to help you, not only because Olivia would be mad at me if I didn't but also because there are members of the pack who need the help." he leans back in the coach comfortably.

"Ok, thank you for your help." I take in a sharp breath.

"It's ok. I just hope that by now you know the value of a mate. I lost my first mate," my eyes widen at his confession but don't say anything letting him continue," I loved her dearly and I blamed myself for her death for over years forgetting that I have a pack to rule and a duty as a king. I even told my father I wanted to go rogue and destroy the wolves that killed her but as I was about to cross pack border, I came across my second chance, injured and on the verge of death and on helping her, I felt as if I was granted a second life." he laughs at my expression, "You know how hard it is to have a second chance at anything especially a mate but  I don't regret anything, so far. So, take this as an opportunity to be a good alpha and right your wrongs. No member of your pack should be mistreated or abused since as an alpha it's your duty to protect them. I can't stop you from hating yourself, I know how it feels but, get your head right and we can talk about the safety of your pack and the rogue attack, start with Olivia, I wish you gave her a chance, she is a really great lady but probably talking it out with her will give you closure, also talk to your beta, if we're to help, we need a united front." That was a long speech and I don't even realize am crying until he leaves and I feel like I can't breath. I feel like I needed someone to open my eyes. All this time I felt regret and hate to myself for what I have done and not being the best example and encouraging bullying and abuse in my pack. If I have a chance, am willing to make that right.

I am after all the alpha of this pack.

Olivia's POV.

You did something." I narrow my eyes at Xavier who enters smiling, strange for a man who went to see someone he hates, so if he didn't hit the guy?

"Yes, apparently the guy is already suffering. All I did was advise him." he sits on the bed and I shrug.

"If you say so, I was wondering why I couldn't feel any anger from you?" he stares blankly at me. "What? you are always angry when you see him." I defend myself.

"I kind of saw myself in him," he sighs leaning on my shoulder as we sit at the edge of the bed." I told him to get himself together and I think that's all he needed to hear." he sighs at me massaging his scalp.

"Ok, let's go to sleep before Lilly wakes up to shush us." we turn to the baby lying in the middle of the bed.

"So selfish."

"Like her father." I whisper getting up but he hears and pulls her down teasing her.

Unknown POV

"Alpha, am afraid they have invited the Blood Moon to help them." the spy reports and I sit upright.

"Oh?" seems like Xavier doesn't learn, " well played on their part." I chuckle and call for my mate.

"Dear, I think it's time for you to go back, I also hear that little Olivia is back. You should pay her a visit and remind her of the past." she smirks darkly nodding.

"I'll be honoured Alpha." she bows infront of me and I smile at her.

"Alpha, if your mate decides to go back I request to accompany her since the girl seems to have improved her skills." he comments and I just nod at him.

Seems like she discovered her ability. Let's see how long she can hide it.

Ryan, you will loose everything no matter how much help you have. The throne should be mine as Alpha, I will not forgive you!
