"They're alive!"
"Grandpa!"
Tara and Aryan said in unison. Their eyes fixed on each other, trying to digest what they saw while what they said out wondered them equally!
Even before anyone of them could say anything, they heard the sound of an arrival, a driver briefly getting out of the car to open the gate, and slowly followed a car in, the car which Tara recognised!
Aryan's eyes were now fixed at the vehicle, unintentionally, they parted away, focusing on the man who just got down from the car!
The man's eyes, as soon as he got down, were fixed on her!
'Uncle?!' Tara wondered.
While Aryan knew why was the man here, and again, the feeling of guilt and fear of losing her wrapped him!
What if the man decides to execute his fearful thought?
As they stared, an eerie silence surrounded until the man reached them, the entire time, his gaze holding her!
Arshad embraced Tara once he distanced the gap between them! A sigh of relief escaping him, while Aryan just watched them!
A sense of security embracing both the men!
"Uncle!" she called with a soft smile playing on her lips, once they parted!
"I missed you!"
"Me too, dear!" his voice was as usual, holding the authority he owned, but she knew, he was holding back, his voice restraining his pain!
Even Aryan could hear the glimpse of it in his voice!
Arshad took in her look briefly, knowing she was weak, assuring himself that she was okay, and so, his gaze travelled over, only to settle on him!
As he took in his look as well, he seemed to be weak as well, as if both had struggled something, their faces clearly evident to the pain they suffered!
Their eyes sore!
"Are you both...okay?" he asked returning his gaze back to her which briefly lingered over him before!
While Aryan tried to guess what was on the mans' mind, Tara nodded, assuring him of their health!
"I... apologise!" Aryan kept his gaze down! His voice grabbing both of their attention!
"You trusted me, and I couldn't take a good care of her!"
A faint smile barely curved up his lips, setting her free, he reached Aryan now.
Taking a deep breath, Arshad's hand reached up for his shoulder, a pat made the man look up at him!
"Do not blame yourself! Let bygones be bygones!!"
Aryan inhaled at that, as if he held his breath all the way till now.
Surprising Arshad, Aryan took his hand, cupping it. "You don't blame me?"
Arshad gave a shook with that still remained faint smile, "I blame someone, who isn't you!"
"And, I know, you were the best choice I have ever given her!!"
Aryan smiled relaxed, knowing he don't have to leave her anymore now, and the man didn't blame him as well, but deep down, he knew, he blamed himself!
"That was consoling enough!!"
Arshad gave a nod, patting his cheek gently, "Let us get in, we need to talk!" he said exchanging a brief look with Tara!
While Tara now knew, after all this conversation, that her uncle knew of what had happened! And she felt thankful for him not blaming Aryan for this!
While she also knew, she blamed herself for this, for no reason, and suddenly, she felt her blood boil again! Whoever was messing with her life, now had gone too far!
For what and why??
As they went in, she had her uncle seated in the living room, while Aryan excused himself, recieving a brief glance from her before he headed for kitchen!
While, Tara kept thinking about the vision she had, unknown to the fact that Aryan was doing the same!
Arshad kept watching Tara in silence which she happened to notice as her gaze was now settled on him!
She didn't know what to say or ask, and so, she raised from her seat. "Excuse me!"
Arshad watched her getting into the kitchen, a sigh escaping him!
Tara as she reached the kitchen, saw him standing, facing against her. Being lost in thoughts! So much, that he forgot to turn off the flame, making the boiling milk flow down, out of the dish, putting off the fire!
Tara with a sigh, reached him, turning off the gas stove, "What...did you see?"
Aryan coming out of his thoughts, looked at her, his gaze wavered between the stove and her, a faint gasp escaping him, "I didn't see it!!" he almost apologized as his hand attempted to take the bowl full of boiled milk off the stove, but her hand which held his stopped him, making him look up at her again!
"I...meant your....vision!"
His eyes settled into hers', remembering the vision he saw, his grandparents, the sweet memories he shared with them!
Expecting an answer or response, Tara was surprised when he pulled her into an embrace. Paused for a moment, she just gave in, hugging him back, though she didn't know what was on his mind!
"Something.... unbelievable!!" he replied after a moment!
"Unbelievable....for both of us!!" he said under his breath as he tightened the hug.
Tara just remained still, trying to calculate his meaning while she already felt the heaviness of it by now!
Aryan pulled himself away, his hands cupping her face now, while she looked up at him!
"I realised that.....we, our relation, is close! More than what we thought!!"
Tara just kept staring into his eyes not knowing where the sudden confession came from!
Aryan tucking her hair behind, took a deep breath! "What did...you see?!"
He still remembered what she said and somehow that made him guess nothing!
Tara was again caught herself up with the vision she saw! Her gaze wavering at that memory and heavy thoughts took over her!
Aryan kept looking at her, waiting for her to speak, patiently, also noticing the change, her recent vision caused her now!
"Something.... unbelievable again!" she said more to herself, and with a shook, she tried to come out of those thoughts.
"Let us...get back....to uncle!"
"He might be waiting for us!!"
Aryan stared her for a moment more before giving her a nod!
Just as she was about to part away, he held her hand, making her look back!
"Tara, I think....we need to return to Mumbai!!"
She tried to understand him while he continued, "Let us come back again after everything is settled, if you want!!"
Tara, after a moment of thought, gave him a slight nod.
She watched him making coffee for them while she thought about what he saw, while also thinking about what she saw!
Was she.... misunderstanding her own vision or....was it true?
But her heart raced at the mere thought and hope it provided, tears filling up her eyes while she tried to restrain them, lock them up!
Not now atleast!!
Her already weak and paining heart wasn't supporting her, her throbbing head only felt relaxed now, oddly after having the vision, but as much as she thought about it, she felt her headache growing up in her.
"Shall we go?" he questioned, grabbing back her attention.
Tara gave a bare nod as they went back to the living room, Aryan offered the man coffee, before settling onto one of the couch!
Tara so absent-mindedly, sat beside her uncle, making him more worried, but he decided not to let himself worry!
Taking a sip, he looked at Aryan, who though was holding his cup high, wasn't having a single sip, seeming lost!
And so seemed the same, her.
Something in him told that there actually happened something huge between them, and he could almost guess what, according to what he knew about his niece! However, everything seemed back to be normal!
Arshad cleared his voice, pulling their attention back!
Tara raised her head up to face her uncle! Aryan did the same!
"I actually acknowledged a fact, which...you both....need to know!!"
Tara and Aryan, both wondered in unison, briefly getting relief from their thought process!
"Have you ever wondered about who your uncle was, Tara? Where does he live and what he does?"
The man's question threw her into a deep silence, not knowing how to respond, she put back her cup on the table, not even leaving her gaze off from him!
While Aryan felt a sting of pain for that one!
Uncle, the one the man mentioned wasn't himself! It was her maternal uncle, and what did she know about him?!
"And you....have you ever thought about your family? Your aunt?!" he turned his attention to Aryan, making Tara do the same!
Aryan didn't seem to be wondered, as if he knew what was the man stating about while Tara did wonder!!
"My father...! Vikram Waqt Singhania!" Aryan said with a sigh and smile combined, "My mother, Arshi! Mrs.Waqt Singhania!"
A soft smile played on his lips as he remembered his parents, his gaze distant,"I had a....very lovely family!!"
Tara just stared him in silence, unable to respond!
Arshad watched him for a moment more, understanding his pain, but, whatever he could say to console him would be as useful as nothing!
Some pains were never forgettable, and one of those was, losing your family, your beloved!
Which he actually suffered!
Not wanting to think about his dear brother again, Arshad shifted his gaze towards Tara.
Making her look at him almost immediately.
"Your mother! Even before she became Mrs.Nethin, she was a Miss!"
Tara stared him with a frown, still not understanding the point!
"Miss Singhania! She was princess Phaedra Waqt Singhania, Tara!!"
Her eyes widened, not at all expecting the thing!!
"You both share a relation, relation of family and blood!!"
Her heart raced, breath almost paused as she unconsciously looked at Aryan, his gaze already fixed on her, and, they just kept staring each other in silence!
And time felt at pause!!
