I'm your mate whether you like it or not

I leave the walk-in closet and start changing the sheets on his bed, while sniffing them, taking them in and just rubbing my face with them.

It's like a drug,I just have this insatiable hunger and it didn't help that Syrus was in the next room. Syrus can try so hard to reject me but he can't fight against the mate bond.

He was made for me and me for him,I don't have anyone else but him.

"Don't do that",he says,``I don't know how long he has been standing there watching me.

"What?, this?"I say, repeating it, rubbing my face in them and taking a deep breath. I don't know how he covered the distance between us but he was in front of me. He grabbed the sheets from me, throwing them to the ground.

"Why do you keep denying it? I'm your mate whether you like it or not" I say, getting on my toes and wrapping my hands around his powerful neck. The sexual attraction between us is because of the mate bond, maybe if I try hard enough he will finally give in. I felt him tense,he was trying so hard to control himself,to stop himself from touching me,but I don't know what I'll do if he gave in, I'm well aware about the happenings between men and women but I've never done it before,but if that will get him to finally give in to me then I'm willing to brave it out.

"You're treading on dangerous waters, Eden '', he gritted.

A playful smile danced on my lips,as I was getting the reaction I wanted from him,so I went in for the kill.I gently bit his neck and licked the tooth marks I left on his skin and it was like the reins on his control snapped.

He wrapped his hand around me and in seconds my back hit the bed with my hands pinned on top of me.

"You're such a daring little girl",he growled in my ear,I was trying so hard to calm my frantic beating heart.

"Trying to seduce me?",he smirked, raising his eyebrow questioningly.

"You want me just as much as I do you", I swallowed.

"I can hear the beating of your heart that shows just how scared you are '',he says, kissing the corner of my mouth.

He looked into my eyes like he could read my thoughts "I'll give it to you for the courage",he said ," but I don't plan on having a human as a mate , it's humiliating ",he continues. " Hurry up and get to work, that debt won't pay itself",he getting up and walking to the door.

" The debt was a fase just to have me close to you",I say, at least that's what I think.

" Don't get your head in the clouds, little one",he laughs, shutting the door behind him.

I try to ignore the pain and disappointment I'm feeling,if I were like them would he accept me? Or he'd still reject me because Deborah is the woman he loves.

I get back to work and carry all the dirty laundry to the laundry room. All I have to do is clean Syrus' room, take his food and that's about it,so I'll be having free time on my hands.

I bump into Jill on my way there,who tells me the Head Servant has punished her to arrange the tools in the woodshed and clean it up, because she got into an argument with Taylor,a she wolf that attends to Tatiana more like her assistant.

Some of the servants don't like the new changes Syrus made and they don't like us being treated like them.

"Now that the Alpha said that we humans deserve to be treated fairly,I won't take shit from nobody",she says,as we walk to the shed.

" Ain't you worried Tatiana will be upset?",I ask.

" I don't care at this point,tell me about the outside world,I remember very little, even if I get a chance to leave, the local town's mall is the further I could go",she says pulling my hand so I tell her the little I can remember.

I don't know why the tool shade is further into the woods put we finally get there and it looks like it has seen better days,but we immediately get to cleaning because Jill won't get to eat if it is not done, even if they can not physically hurt us they torture us with hard labor.

We finally finish at noon and begin heading to the house. I'm so caught up with telling Jill about all the times me,my brother and his friends used to go stealing. I don't notice Jill standing still.

"What's wrong?",I turn and ask her,she signals for me to stay silent and mouths that it's too silent.

I then notice the stiffness of the woods around us,the woods are for the wolves to run in and let out their wolf and animal instincts.

I began shivering without noticing it.I was just filled with so much dread.I felt small.I couldn't explain the feeling of fear that vibrated through me, like I was being watched, watched by a predator,I decided to take a step closer to Jill.

And a large brown wolf with a white stripe of fur running from its nose and under its belly sprung from the bushes beside me and pinned me to the ground.

Its weight crushed my chest as I struggled to breath. All I could think of was the time I was locked in a cage with one of these creatures but this wolf was large , larger than in her beast form.

It growled at me as its saliva dropped on my face,I couldn't find the strength in me to scream or fight,I looked around for Jill but she was nowhere to be seen.

I closed my eyes and prayed to whoever was going to listen.

I heard the sound of bones cracking,so I opened my eyes and saw a fully naked Vincent, towering over me with his foot on my chest.
