CHAPTER SIX
"Excuse me, but I can't help watching you walk across our photo shoot, and I was able to capture you on my camera; you look so captivating, so photogenic, a perfect model for our commercial."
While Rielle, Louie, and Alexis were crossing the hallway, they came upon a filming crew as they walked out of the building. A man wearing a red cap with a video camera in his hand approached them.
"Excuse me, Miss, but I can't help watching you walk across our photo shoot, and I was able to capture you on my camera; you look so captivating, so photogenic, a perfect model for our commercial." Rielle was taken aback, speechless.
Then he added, "Would you mind holding this cell phone acting as if you are taking a picture of the three actors over there," pointing at a man dressed in casual wear with the two women standing by a two-door sedan car.
"I want to see how you project yourself in front of a moving camera." He explained, "We are about to film a commercial with this new mobile telephone to be introduced in the market, so we want to emphasize the features of the phone and how its camera using only a photo feature, captures exactly a quick motion on moving scenes, and you are perfect to model!"
Seeing the mobile telephone he was talking about, Rielle surprisingly knew that it was the company's product they were about to launch. Rielle, without hesitation, agrees willingly but is silent that it is her company's brand they are to make into a commercial.
"Sure, I'd love to; I would do my best," unsure though she accepted just the same. Alexis and Louie were hushed to keep quiet and gave her their all-out support.
The Director was delighted and instructed her to react as a bystander. Then she will respond to the scene of the three persons where she will capture the part using the cell phone for the model. Then gave the cue and shouted, "Let the camera roll!" Rielle joined the actors while a boy raised the clapperboard as the Director yelled, "Lights, camera, action!" She started to act for the scene. Working as a bystander with a cell telephone, she focused on taking pictures of the three actors. In the setting, two women argue, grabbing each other's hair while the man stands in the middle to stop them. She started to aim the phone at the scene. The camera rolled while filming. She is so terrific that even the camera loved taking her pictures. Acting like a pro, doing her share of the action, acting naturally, the film director was pleased with the outcome, then shouted, "Cut!" The Director praised her acting skills, calling her a natural. He assured her that her talent fee would be paid to her as soon they finished editing and delivered the film for approval and release for launch. He asked for her contact number and at the same time gave the calling card of his agency.
