Will leaned down beside me and started comforting me. "James, what are you doing? She is still the third princess of Ethiopia. You don't have any evidence that she did that on purpose. She is telling all of us that it was an accident and I believe that she is telling the truth." Will said to James.
"She is just so horrible." James said.
Then suddenly, I saw a shadow pass me going to James, and the next thing I knew James was on the floor with a bloody nose.
"Ouch! Who dares to hit me?" James screamed.
"Who dares to hit my princess?" A cold voice said. I saw the back of a very familiar person.
"Sir Leon." I muttered in my faintest voice.
"I am so sorry my princess. I was not here and you got hurt. This is all my fault. I should have always been by your side. This is all my fault." Leon said. He looked like he was full of regret and I truly felt terrible even though I did nothing to him.
"Leon, don't blame yourself. You were probably busy or something. None of this is your fault." I said.
"Who dares to hit me? I am the son of Carl Johnash. He is the duke of Jamaina." James yelled. "I am the future duke of Jamaina." James yelled again.
Then Leon looked back and suddenly, his happy and cheerful face looked like the face of a bad-hearted being. I felt a chill down my spine. Leon's face gave a hint which looked like he was gonna go crazy.
"My princess please go inside. I'll handle this situation." Leon said.
"No, Leon I'm not going inside without you. I'll stay here until you come with me." I said. I started having a feeling that Leon was going to start a fight.
I was worried that Leon would get beaten up by James. If Lisa's knight Larry happened to join the fight I don't think Leon would win and would just get beaten up. I had these thoughts as Larry was one of the strongest royal knights.
Leon smiled at me. The smile which I just loved and adored. Then, I just realized that I called him by his name without honorifics.
"Don't worry about me, my princess. Even if an army stood in my way I would defeat them just to avenge you." Leon said. Saying that he gently caressed my swollen cheeks. Then that hint that made Leon look crazy showed itself again.
"Young Lord William, please keep an eye on princess Alicia." Leon said to Will.
"Yes Sir Leon, leave her to me. I'll keep an eye on her." Will replied.
Leon stood up and held the sword that was idly placed on his waist.
"Sir Larry." Leon said. He was trying to get Larry's attention.
"Yes?" Larry replied.
"You know the knights' code, right?" Leon said.
"Of course. I know the knights' code by heart." Larry replied. Then, I saw Lisa's maids coming with more ice and applying the ice to the burns on her face.
"Then you know that we should punish anyone who hurts our sworn master or lady by our sword." Leon said.
"What?! You are Alicia's knight?" Lisa said in disbelief. "That's impossible! Mother never allowed Alicia to have a knight." Lisa said.
"I'm afraid that princess Alicia does have a knight." Will said to Lisa.
Lisa looked at Will in surprise.
"I was there as a witness along with General Robert and Crown Prince Richard as Sir Leon was giving his oath to princess Alicia." Will said.
"Now that I am by my princess's side, no one can harm her. If anyone hurts my princess they will be punished. Then, they will have to face my wrath." Leon said. "I don't think you will interfere with me, Sir Larry." Leon said looking at Larry.
Lisa gestured at Larry to interfere. She really didn't want me to get away this easily.
"Yes, I won't interfere with you, Sir Leon. You have my word as a knight." Larry said.
Then, I saw pure disbelief on Lisa's face. I saw her clenching her fists hard. It felt like I was in heaven seeing her so angry as she always hurt and bullied me.
