"Ahem, gotta appreciate you for this. Now you're even more a stud to me, if that makes sense," the Devil said to Roman after a while. Her smile came back at the same time. Even her seductive voice and that little moan were also back.
"Well, my goal is one; to make you satisfy me," she continued.
Roman's serious facial expression changed drastically afterwards as his jaw dropped, allowing his mouth to open widely.
"YES!" he replied.
"Uh… I mean- I'm sorry," Roman apologized quickly.
"But are you for real, though?" the boy didn't even take a second to make sure.
"Of course," Mia answered casually.
"Okay, no offense, but, uh…" Roman said as he looked at a specific point.
"You have no pusi," he continued innocently, looking back at Mia's eyes.
"I mean, obviously, you've also said it before. I just… want to make sure that there is still a way to satisfy you… if you get it," the boy added carefully.
"And I'm indeed talking about that other way," Mia replied while folding her hands across her chest.
"I'm listening respectfully," Roman declared.
"It's simple actually, and we've talked about it; I want you to be my puppet and do whatever I want you to do. But now, I'll talk about the major thing and the actual meaning behind that," Mia continued.
"I need you to help me find and defeat The King of Devils," the Devil stated with a serious facial expression.
"Uh? The King?" Roman was quite shocked to hear it.
"Yeah. The one that is recognized as the strongest Devil ever, and logically is impossible to be defeated; that's why I don't mind helping you achieve your goal, so that you'll be well prepared later as you're about to gain a lot of experiences in your journey," Mia explained.
"So, uh… is he like… your husband?" Roman asked while scratching his head.
"Watch your mouth," she complained immediately.
"What? You both are the king and the queen, that's a logical question," the boy said.
"Then use your logic. That's just a name, doesn't indicate our status at all," Mia replied, still in annoyance.
"Girl, okay, calm down," Roman ended the topic there.
"Now, why do you want to kill this Devil called The King?" he added.
"Simply because I don't like him," Mia gave a short answer.
"Hmm…" but Roman showed disbelief at the answer because of the answer itself.
"Huff…" Mia sighed after seeing the boy's reaction.
"Obviously, there is a more complex reason than that, but this is a problem of two Devils; it has nothing to do with you or the rest of humanity, I just need you to be my puppet. That being said, I can't guarantee you anything about what could happen if a massive battle breaks down between us and how the aftermath would be, especially if it all happened in your world," the Devil explained transparently not long after.
This explanation made Roman can't say anything as it tended to make him have no choice but to end his own life to avoid what could happen to the world if Mia reached her goal.
"I know that sounds a lot like a huge burden to you and it puts you in the toughest position. However, I also want you to note that he is actually in this world; somewhere we don't know, but his presence has always been in your world for hundreds of years. Anything might be something he is doing right now; he could be planning for something at this exact moment; he could be doing a little thing that might determine the fate and the future of your world; or he could be just silent, waiting for something we don't know about," Mia added another crucial point after a while.
"All I'm saying is that ending your own life now isn't really the best choice, but doing the opposite isn't better anyway, so you have to be careful on this one," she concluded.
As it was getting harder for him to make the final decision, Roman again took other minutes of being silent to consider everything carefully.
"I want to add another thing if you don't mind," Mia then broke the 10+ minutes of silence by ensuring that the boy wouldn't mind if she said something again.
"Go ahead," Roman replied curtly.
"Whether you believe my words or not; I don't really mind, though I can't lie that I'm still hoping you'll eventually decide to live your second chance at life. But after all, what matters to you is your world, and for some reason, you now are the one who determines and makes up your world's fate, and it's not only about humanity anymore; but the whole world, remember that," the Devil uttered.
"That's the thing," Roman said afterwards.
"Huh?" Mia frowned in confusion.
"I really want to throw a tantrum at the one who makes up my fate now. This shit is too stressful, but I don't think I'm able to do it until everything is done," the boy continued.
"So, yeah. Let's move forward together. This is my safest decision for now," he added confidently.
Hearing Roman's words, Mia smirked.
"However, it doesn't mean I totally believe in your words. You're still a manipulative Devil, I'm just giving you a little chance. I'll immediately slit my throat if it turns out all of this is just your bullshit," Roman declared as soon as the Devil showed her smirk.
"Hell, yeah," Mia responded enthusiastically.
"Now, wake up. You have to deal with a lot of things. Some people are about to greet you as soon as you open your eyes," the Devil said a moment later.
"What?" Roman frowned upon hearing that.
"I couldn't see anything while you were still not awakened so I'm not sure who they are and what's their intention. But through your ears, I could vaguely hear them talking, and I'm pretty sure they have taken your body somewhere; probably you're their prisoner now," Mia explained.
"What the hell? Do you have other clues about why they arrested me? Or any small clues that can help me recognize who they are?" Roman asked quite in a panic and shock.
"Apparently, no. Your ears didn't hear really well while you were still not awakened so I couldn't hear much. Even until now, I still can't hear clearly, and I'm sure you too, so you better wake up quickly," she answered. Roman was silent afterwards; his mind went blank, thinking about what he had to do after waking up.
"There's a great chance they took you as a prisoner because you're the only survivor and you survived without any injury, not to mention they must have found all the wolves dead, so they would automatically suspect you," Mia continued a couple of seconds later.
"Wait, what happened to the wolves?" the boy once again asked.
"The energy created around your body right after our unification occurred was deadly and could shatter anything into pieces. Those wolves were around you, so guess what happened to them," Mia replied casually, making Roman unable to say anything again.
"Just remember to never say to anyone about my existence in you. Don't you ever forget about the fact that there are ten Devils that exist in your world, and all ten are known to be the strongest Devils ever. You're allowed to think it is strange that you had never met any Devils previously, but once your current identity is revealed to anybody, you're done," the Devil concluded.
