Skip, III

Haruka Maki POV:

The sea, hundreds of meters away, was split in half.

I could only look at the sight in front of me in a trance.

My ears were ringing, the earth or whatever was shaking, and in this sunset, the two waves of the ocean finally meshed together.

The aftermath of that explosion also reached me, that is to say, the water level rose from my ankles up to my waist.

I gazed into the sky, "Huh… Elias!" And I finally took a good look and recognized the two silhouettes falling.

"No, no… What do I do!?" I pondered, screaming to myself how to find a way to stop them from hitting the water surface at that speed.

Swoosh.

The moment they were about to reach the ground, their speed halted, and now slowly they were floating one meter above it.

I could only look at them, jaw-slacked.

They were just above my waist, both were unconscious, I took a hold of both Elias and Soobin, and made my way to the side of the lagoon.
