Welcome to Hell

[Congratulations: You Have Received 200 Qualification Points For Killing Twenty Lv13 Evil Demons And Ten Innocent Lv15 Magical Beast Men]

I woke up a minute later, my head ringing with notification sounds from Fahima. When I opened my eyes, I saw something out of a horror movie. The floor was covered in rivers of blood and the body parts of demons, and a magical beast was lying on the ground, headless. The demons' heads were stuck on the ceiling, looking down at their dead bodies, while blood drippedfrom their noses, and their arms were set in a prayer position. Whoever killed them didn't use a weapon—the handprints on the dead bodies indicated that the killer used his bare hands to chop off their heads and snatch out their hearts. This did not look like a murder scene but a work of art.

"Fahima, how long was I out, and what happened after I fell asleep?" I asked.

While Fahima was explaining what happened, an alarm of horns sounded, and the dining room door opened. Soldiers came forthwearing black uniforms with golden symbols, white masks covering their faces. The small army began to circle me. Thenan older man in his late seventies came through the door. He wore a white robe and carried a black stick on his right hand. Calling this man old felt wrong somehow, though—his perfect physical stature resembled that of a young man in his thirties.

"Human, do you care to explain what happened here?" he asked calmly.

"These fools angered the wrong person, and due to their foolish actions, they met their end spectacularly," I replied.

"They were foolish indeed to pick a fight with a monster. Please, come with me to my office. I have a lot to discuss with you."

"If you are offering food, I will gladly come with you. Due to the foolish actions of these ignorants, I haven't had anything to eat."

"Don't worry," the man said, "there will be plenty of food provided. Please, follow me."

I followed the man up the stairs, and like before, we flew over the steps and landed on the third floor. Then he began walking, and after a few minutes, we arrived at a beautiful room, where a gold-and-platinum throne sat in the middle, a table with twelveblack chairs stretching to either side. The man took a seat on the throne and rang a bell, and almost before he'd begun, a young woman appeared in front of him.

"Lilith, bring nourishments to our guest, and make it fast," he ordered.

After the order was given, the young lady disappeared.

"My name is Loki. I'm the owner of this academy. What's your name, young man?" he asked.

"My name is Reth. I'm a traveler from Moonshine," I replied.

"Moonshine. I haven't heard that name for decades. But why are you here? Humans usually don't come out of their territory, and if they do, they end up dead or become slaves. But you are neither of the above," said Loki.

I didn't know what to reply, and revealing my true identity wasn't a smart move; I still had a lot of unanswered questions about this world, and being cautious wouldn't hurt me.

"Before I came here, I crossed over the Forest of Death and had an altercation with a group of wild beasts, and afterward I couldn't remember my past self," I replied.

I made up a story so I could ask him questions without him getting suspicious.

"The Forest of Death, as its name implies, is a dangerous and mysterious place, and without the help of the academy, people usually don't come out alive. You are lucky to be alive," he replied.

While I was conversing with Loki, the young lady reappeared with a massive golden box on her shoulders, which she set upon the table.

The box magically opened as she placed it in the center of the table, and an unpleasant smell escaped. Inside lay a dead wolf, and in its belly raged flames of dark fire. The box also had dark water made out of ice.

"Loki, can you explain what's inside that box to me?" I asked.

"What do you mean? This is the food and drinks you asked for," he said with a confused face.

Fahima, is this what people usually eat in this world?

[Yes, This Is Considered A Delicacy, And Hell Does Not Have The Regular Food You're Accustomed To. People In This World Are Cursed To Eat And Drink The Eternal Flames Of Hell.]

The Goddess had tricked me—I'd wanted to reincarnate into a world of fantasy, but instead, she reincarnated me into hell. Well played, Goddess.

"I appreciate your hospitality, but I won't be eating or drinking this meal," I replied.

"This is a surprise. People usually go crazy when they see these nourishments, but someone as hungry as you is denying this delicacy? People will go crazy when they hear about this," Loki said, sounding surprised.

The young lady stood there, also looking shocked at what I said, but she didn't voice her opinion. She shut the box, then turned around and vanished with it on her shoulders once more.

"Loki, do you have a place I can rest for a while before I head out?" I asked.

"I don't know what you mean by rest?" He looked more confused than ever.

Fahima, how come he doesn't know what rest is?

My bad luck was getting worse; this world was nothing like I'dimagined. I couldn't sleep or find a decent meal; how didhumans usually survive in this world?

"Master, humans usually eat each other to survive and drink their urination, and due to this, humans are a lot weaker than demons and magical beasts who eat the eternal flames of hell," said Typhon in my head.

This world was more of a horror movie than an actual fantasy one. Fahima, is there a way I can change this world? I don't want to live in this hell for too long, and since I'm a God, it shouldn't be a problem.
