Chapter 34

It was quiet. some leaves rustled in the Wind. A bird chirped and anthoer flew up to its nest to feed its young.

Vincent looked around in confusion.  A moment ago, he had been in the carriage with Victoria, yet now he was seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Vincent was still in the defensive pose he took in his last moments in the carriage, his sword was still held high with one hand stretched back to keep Victoria behind his back. Victoria! Vincent quickly looked back in horror to see she wasn't behind him. Alone and he was now in the wilderness not knowing what had happened, Vincent remained frozen in shock for another few minutes until he calmed down enough to re-asses his situation.

Vincent: "Where am I?"

Vincent walked forwards, examining his surroundings. He didn't manage to recognize anything explicit that would tell him where he was. His understanding of animals and plant life was insufficient to aid him in this endeavour.  He did, however, see the sun in the same spot it was when he was in the carriage.  Unless a large amount of time had passed since he was in the carriage, then it would be safe to assume he was still looking in the same direction as before and that only his position had changed. Or so at least, Vincent thought to himself. If his assumption was correct, then he was currently facing westwards.  The problem is, without knowing his position, he could be anywhere and going in any specific direction could end up counter productive.  However, Vincent believed it would be better to go somewhere than stay in the middle of nowhere.

Vincent: "If i dont find a town or somthing than i may need to find food."

After giving out a long sigh Vincent continued onwards on his journey into the woods.
