Days passed, and Eric gradually returned to his routine.He could now move around the house on his own, walking without support. Though still not at full strength, the worst had passed. Servants often cast curious glances his way—whispers followed in his wake—but none dared approach him directly.

The silence was suffocating.

"I can't live like this…" Eric finally burst out, his voice echoing off the walls. "How many days has it been? I need fresh air. Take me outside—or I swear I'll go on my own."

Aiden, who was busy tidying the room, looked up with a frown. "Can't you be patient for a few more days? Once you're fully recovered, you can go wherever you like."
