Who is he?

"Thank you. By the way, what is your name?", Alex asked following him from behind.

"I'm Tjiwone. Let's see, we live in this place and I live there.", he said and pointed toward the small similar hut.

"Oh, that's nice. How many people live in this tribe?", Alex asked.

"Around 150 people I think.", Jjiwone replied.

"Oh. Quite a lot of people. I cannot see the other people, where are they?", Alex asked.

"The men went for livestock herding and other things.", Tjiwone replied and they went near a hut where a woman was doing his work while sitting in front of his hut. She was covered in red paint and not covering her breast and only her bottom was covered with some kind of animal skin. Around her three children were looking at him.

"Who is he?", the woman asked.

"He's Alex. He came to visit our tribe and meet us.", Tjwone replied to her.

"Oh, ok.", she looked at Alex and said.

"She's is Waredede.", Tjwone introduced.

"Oh, how are you?", Alex asked her.

"Ahh… you can speak our language? Wow… I'm fine.", she replied while smiling.

"Just a little. Hehe..", Alex laughed.

"How old are you?", Waredede asked.

"Me? Twenty years old.", Alex replied.

"Are you married?", she asked.

"Yes. I have many wives.", Alex replied with a smile.

"Can you marry me? I'm ready for you.", she suddenly asked and smiled.

"You want to be my wife?", Alex got surprised and asked.

"Yeah.", she replied.

"hehe… ", Alex tried to laugh it off and looked toward Tjwone for help.

"She wants to hear your response.", Tjwone replied while smiling.

"Yeah. You can tell me directly. You want to marry me or not?", she asked again.

"I travel too much and I don't think I will be a very good husband for you.", Alex replied.

"Then we can travel together.", she quickly suggested with a chuckle.

"Are you guys always traveling around here?", Alex asked.

"Yeah.", Tjwone replied.

"What's your answer?", she asked again.

"Oh. I really have many wives. If you want to marry me then I will marry you but I need more wives. Can you search for other ladies too?", Alex smiled and teased.

"Ahh…really.", she smiled and asked.

"Yeah. But first, I have brought something for the tribe. Tjwone, will you call people for the things to carry here.", Alex asked.

"What did you bring?", Tjwone asked.

"Some foods.", Alex replied.

"Is it far?", Tjwone asked.

"No. I parked my truck just a little outside because I did not want to be disrespectful to you guys.", Alex explained.

"Oh. Let's go to the truck first. You call for the people, ok?", Tjwone ordered the lady.

"Let's go.", Alex said and they both headed outside. They soon reached to a pickup truck and Alex drove to the gate of the tribe. Alex climbed on top of the pickup truck and started to unload the truck by passing rations to the ladies. The ladies got shy and carried the loads to their place.

"Why did you bring too many things.", Waredede asked.

"Since I'm marrying you, I have to bring a small gift, isn't that right?", Alex teased.

"Ahaha… I like it.", she gave a laugh.

"What is the Alex?", Tjwone pointed toward a thing and asked.

"That thing. It's a machine that gives us clean drinking water. I brought for the tribe.", Alex lifted up and said.

"What? How?", Tjwone asked carrying it.

"You will know later.", Alex said and carried some bags.

"Oh. Ok.", Tjwone said.

"Let's go inside.", Alex said and they started to walk inside the settlement. Alex put the things besides the Tjwone small hut and sat down with him.

"You have to stay with us for some time.", Tjwone asked.

"Well, I don't want to intrude on you guys.", Alex replied.

"We will be happy if you stay for a time. Our chief is outside today. Use his house to sleep tonight.", Tjwone proposed.

"Would chief will be furious, if I stay there?", Alex asked.

"He won't. Then that settles. You are staying.", Tjwone said.

"Ok. Alright. Let's go see the kids.", Alex agreed and said.

"Ok. Why do you want to see the kids?", Tjwone asked.

"I want to give these candies and chocolates to them.", Alex showed him the packets.

"Oh. But that's too much.", Tjwone looked at the packets and replied.

"It's not all for them. We will give it to the adults too.", Alex replied and started to walk toward the kids.

"Oh. I see.", Tjwone replied and followed him. When he went there, kids started to gather around him.
