CHAPTER FIFTEEN: A Ruin Summer

Michelle POV

The school session is coming to end, a lot happened this session; starting from what would always be the same, Ellyn hating me to Jeff and Art love story, a lot did happen.

'Chelly, do want me to talk to Ellyn for you' Ryan asked as we rode to school, he also knows of my Ellyn situation.

'No, why bother, today is the last day I would see him, summer starts tomorrow and Elisa and the rest are coming over, so soon I would forget that he even exist' I said and the car came to halted.

I left the car fast so no one would see that we came to school together, yeah, I still keep that we siblings a secret. I wentnove to my class, it seemed that Ellyn had arrived, his head was bent down because he was busy with his phone. The seat beside him was empty, that's my seat, I walked over and say on my seat,

'Good morning' I said to him. He raised his head and stared at me then he turned back to his phone without saying a word.

'Morning' he said after a while,

"Did he just respond to my greetings or did I hear wrong?"

It was so sudden and I didn't know how to react, I just stared at him for with surprise.

'Michelle Cillip and Ellyn Graymer, Miss. Miranda calls for your attention' A girl announced and left the class.

I and Ellyn followed after her till we reached the teachers office, the girl left while I and we went inside into the office locating our homeroom teachers death. She looked up from her phone and stared at us with a plastered smile.

'You guys are here, Michelle your result for this session are really bad and I'm sorry to tell you that you have to come for summer class, Ellyn, congratulations you topped the class!' Miranda announced.

'Miss. Miranda, please, I've planned my summer' I pleaded

'Then you should have remembered to study hard, you scored 50 in Maths, you almost failed this class' Miss. Miranda said and I put on my puppy plea eyes.

'Ok, it's only if Ellyn would agree to be your private tutor during summer' Miss. Miranda said

'What?!' I screamed out my thought

'What? You hate it? Then you would have to come for summer class' Miss. Miranda noted

'I would do it' Ellyn said before I could say anything

"He agreed? Did Ryan talk to him"

'Since he agreed everything is settled' Miranda said, before I could say anything I felt a hand wrap around my wrist, it was Ellyn.

He pulled me by my wrist out of the teachers office, he let go of my wrist when we are in the hallway and headed for wherever he was going to. I pulled out my phone from my jean pocket to text Ryan.

Chelly: Did you talk to him

I type and went to my class, no Ellyn, seriously. My phone beep and checked it,

Ryan: No, you told me not to.

So Ryan really didn't talk to Ellyn then why is he behaving like this.

Ellyn POV

"What did I do", my head screamed that I made a wrong move, I'm in the bathroom splashing water on my face to get myself to calm down and I totally regretted this morning decision. I decided that I was going to try to get close to her or talk to her at least but since when I responded to her greetings my head has been on red alert. I don't talk to her or stare at her because my body goes stiff and I get scared that if I open my mouth to talk to her, I might scare her away.

'What do I do now?' I muttered, now I really wanted wish I had a friend that would help me know the next step.

"Why am I losing my cool? It's not like I like her but there is definitely something there that I don't really understand."

I left the bathroom and went to my class, Michelle didn't stop staring at me, I tried to focus on the game I was playing but I can't seem to stop thinking about her eyes are on me. I kept failing the level all over and over again then I decided to ditch the game and sleep. The school bell woke me up and I saw that Michelle wasn't on her seat, I looked around the class and she wasn't there. I hurried down the stairs hoping to catch up with her before she reaches her brother's car, yes, I know her is Ryan. Luckily I saw her before she got to the car,

'Michelle!' I called, when she turned she looked shocked, I don't blame her, I'm also shock at myself.

'I didn't get your address, Miss. Miranda said I should start tomorrow' I said probably lied

'She said that? When?' Michelle asked not buying my lie.

'I'm just coming from her office' I backed up my lie.

'Chelly!' Ryan called staring at me, coming closer to where we stood, 'Making progress' Ryan said putting his arm over her shoulder,

'Progress? Ryan remove your arm I don't want anyone knowing' Michelle said as she collected my phone and typed her number into it.

'Nobody's here, are you walking home or you are following me' Ryan asked

'Following you, I would text you the address' she said to me and hopped into her brother's car.

The next afternoon, I went to the address Michelle sent to me and I stood at the door hesitating to ring the bell and nextdoor's door opened. 'Mum, don't worry I would be fine' A familiar boy said pulling his luggage, he is in my class.

'Whoa, Ellyn you came already, bad day for Michelle' he said when he noticed me, 'I'm going to do you a favor' Charlie said pressing the door bell,

"Why would he do that!"

The door opened and it was a strange girl who came for the door, 'Tell Michelle that her private tutor is here' Charlie said rushed to the elevator which binged.

'Chelly!' the girl called

'What is it, Bella' she said as she to the door, 'My summer is ruined' she said sighting me and went back inside I followed her in. The house was fuller than I expected,

"It might be worst summer for her but it the best summer for me."
