Klaus sat on his bed, staring at the wall before him. Blair sat beside him, his eyes glued to the floor. They both knew what they wanted to say, but neither of them wanted to break the fragile silence that encompassed them.

"So, uh, about my twin coming to visit while I was in the hospital," Blair finally spoke up, his voice hesitant.

Klaus turned to him, his expression unreadable. "Yes?"

"I was actually... receptive to the idea," Blair admitted, his cheeks flushing slightly.

Klaus nodded, understanding shining in his eyes. "Yeah, you'd have probably wanted to meet him in person, right?" Klaus asked knowing how it was to have someone to call family.

"Not that. It's just, I don't get why he came while I wasn't around. You know, I didn't invite him and he didn't drop a message. Are you sure he...he didn't like say anything?" Blair asked.

Klaus frowned, a hint of concern creeping into his tone. "Did something go missing?"
