He Who Tells Her "Mine"

It took some time before the kids' excitement died down. This was their first time staying in a hotel where there was a theme park inside. Wonder Box was the perfect distraction for them. Duncan once again, outdid himself. 

I looked at Nicole, hugging the new stuffed toy that Colin had won for her. The clothes that they bought at the boutique also fit them. Come to think of it, Duncan had been buying the kids' clothes these past few months. 

I sighed, ranting about something that actually made my life easy would be use less, he was helping. 

I entered the living room and found the man/god that had been occupying my mind reading something on his laptop. He was frowning again. I sat on the other end of the sofa and asked, "What happened now?"

Duncan rubbed his temple and answered, "Remember the event I told you about?"

I nodded, "What about it?"
