Suspicious

Nathan had gotten to the club in 10 minutes because it wasn't far from his office and the road was free, so he drove at a very high speed.

Climbing out of his car, Nathan walked into the elevator, pressed on the second floor, and picked up his phone to call his brother,

" Leo, we are you now," Nathan asked immediately Leonard picked up his call.

" Am on the second floor now, are you here already " Leonard asked.

" yes I just came out of the elevator " Nathan said, walking out of the elevator and ended the call when he spotted his brother sitting at the dark end on the left.

Nathan had a good eyesight, so he should easily see in the dark or night time. Walking to we're Leonard was he drew the chair back and sat down.

" Hey bro, you finally have time for me huh " Leonard remarked sipping from his drink that left a sharp taste in his mouth.

Nathan just gazed at him and refused to answer him sipping his wine.

" come on Nat just answer me already " Leonard mumbled in frustration.

" what do you want to hear " Nathan asked looking in a certain direction while sipping his wine.

" Nevermind, why did you agree to come here?? " Leonard asked looking interested at the girls dancing.

" to get someone off my head "

" who's that someone?? "

" is it by chance, the girl grandpa was talking about "

Nathan no longer replied when two girls who just walked into the club got his attention, she looked familiar. After both girls sat down he could finally pinpoint who he saw, it was non other than the girl who had been on his mind lately.

He looked at how she was dressed wearing a tight open back gown and he felt like covering her with his coat, for only him to see, the girl in question failed to notice how she got the attention of everyone around her.

He kept looking at her even when they had ordered the waiter to bring them drinks, his instincts told him to follow the waiter with his gaze and he was shocked when he saw her mixing something in the drink, walk up to them and served them, wondering what was in it.

While Nathan was busy looking at Kylie and her friend, he didn't realize that Leonard had walked away and a young lady was sitting looking at him, switching his glass with the one she had brought with a lustfully gaze over her eyes.

Looking at the unsuspicious girls who were busy laughing among themselves, Nathan attempted to stand up and warn them about it before it was too late with worry written all over his face but before he could get there Kylie had already consumed her glass, he sighed in frustration and gulped down the wine glass before him.

Kylie gulped down her cocktail drink looking at Julie who was busy admiring the dancers on stage.

" Come on Kylie let's go and dance " Julie mumbled in excitement trying to draw Kylie to the stage.

" Nah...nah..ha..ha.. I don't wanna dance " Kylie muttered feeling dizzying.

" please please " Julie said with puppy eyes 🥺🥺🥺 looking at Kylie.

" Fine let's do that, but I want to wash my head I feel dizzy can you tell me the room number you arranged for us.

" Yes it's..... " Julie replied trying to convey the number when her phone started ringing.

Ring! Ring!! Ring!!!

Julie looked at her scream flashing mom and picked up the call,

" Hello mom "

" Your dad, he got...in....to... " Julie's mom tried to say something but the network was crashing.

" Mom, "

" I can't hear you, speak louder " Julie who could not hear what her mom was saying stood up to make her call outside, when Kylie grabbed her hand.

" room number please " Kylie muttered through gritted teeth because of the pain she was feeling.

Julie looked at Kylie who was holding her hand and mumbled

" Am Sorry Kylie I have to leave now, the number is 238 " She said in a hurry and ran off picking up her bag and keys.

Kylie stood up, picked up her bag and walked towards the elevator to go to the hotel at the top building which was a part of the club, forgetting her coat.

Nathan who had finished drowning down the wine looked at the person sitting across him and saw it was a woman, looking at her with confusion in his eyes he asked

" Who are you?? " with a cold gaze that sent dread creeping up her spine.

" You are feeling unwell, let me help you to your room " The woman said swallowing her the fear that she was feeling, stood up and tried to touch him.

Slapping her hand away Nathan gazed toward we're Kylie was sitting and saw she was alone, returning his eyes back to the woman he tried to stand up but staggered to the side.

Trying to touch him and lure him into her trap, the woman walked closer to Nathan and tried to hold him again but was pushed against the wall by Nathan.

Nathan walked towards Kylie who was behaving strangely from in his gaze but before he could get to her, she climbed into the elevator closing the doors.

Kylie stepped out of the elevator and walked toward the receptionist to ask for directions.

" Good day ma'am "

" Yes how can I help you "

" Please can you tell me where room number 238 is?? " Kylie inquired.

" You turn right then left, left again and right " the receptionist said looking at Kylie with a weird gaze.

" Thank you " Kylie said and started walking trying to identify the room.

Nathan stepped out of the elevator and saw Kylie walking to only God knows where and strutted after her, he wondered what was out in her drink and why he was feeling dizzy so suddenly.

Kylie walking toward the room when two men came out of nowhere and blocked her way, raising her eye brow she looked at them and tried to walk through the other side when they blocked there too.
